Stopped here after a cycle along route 72 of the National cycle network. The pub was undergoing a refurbishment when I called here first but managed to get a pint in before we left for home. Great little
What a lovely pub in such a gorgeous, peaceful place. We came here on a Sunday night and the owners were having their own tea when we arrived, they were really a accommodating and took our order quickly.

I saw some t shirts for sale at the Wallsend B&B (in Bowness on Solway) they said 'I walked the wall', I think they had 2/3 different designs but I didn't notice any polo shirts. The Kings Arms probably sell them too. You can also buy a nice looking certificate which has a picture of the wall on it and says 'I walked the Wall', it also says how long it is etc. We bought one from the B&B but again I think The Kings Arms would also have them - I can't remember whether it was £2.50 or £5. Btw, from a brief glance at the t shirts, they looked to be nice quality.
