Fantastic place been there 3 times now this time we stayed in the rookery it was big and beautifull we will be back next year the small places are also nice only one not stayed in is the kingfisher bridgenorth is a small little town but has a lovely market on the street on a Saturday .
Felt very comfortable and safe. Stayed in the Drake cottage, for a week, excellently equipped and very comfortable with fantastic views over Chelmarsh. Lovely walks for our dog and many pubs ( good Covid security ) nearby, mostly serving traditional pub grub. Loved it so much going back for a long weekend in January.
My wife and I stayed in the Lakeside room B&B in mid September. The hosts were really friendly & helpful - they directed us to the local pub and recommended other places to eat nearby. Great view of the lake and fields. There are many local attractions a short drive away and walks that can be enjoyed straight from the farm.
I have stayed in all types of accommodation up to to 5 star. Never have I known anything so clean and the way they treat their customers is sublime. Did I mention the views and standard of furnishings. Well they are the best. Certainly if you want a relaxing place to stay with amazing scenery and so many places to visit then look no further. And no I have no affiliation with the owners, just blown away
Having cancelled our villa booking in Spain my family decided we should holiday in the UK and selected The Dinney Kingfisher property which has 6 en suite bedrooms. The property appeared to be a barn conversion with modern facilities and plenty of space for 5 adults and 4 grandchildren aged 11 to 16. It is well stocked with all modern facilities - dish washer, washing machine, 2 ovens, micro oven and plenty of crockery and cutlery etc. It is quiet and peaceful and in easy reach of Bridgnorth with its shops and restaurants. Shropshire is not probably an area immediately associated with UK holidays compared to the Lake district, Cornwall, The Peak district etc. but we found plenty to do including a very enjoyable pottery class at Much Wedlock, an educational tour of Daniels Mill, a canal narrow boat hire and plenty of walks in beautiful countryside. All in all we can thoroughly recommend a staycation based at TheDinney.…
