Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I used the X cover in good faith to protect my booking and had an awful experience. I originally booked for my wedding at Bridal Barn but had to cancel my wedding due to falling pregnant. Every other provider has been lovely about it but The Dinney point blank refused to give me a refund, despite having paid for refund protection and giving them months of notice. Apparently X Cover do not accept pregnancy as a valid reason for cancelling (!). This means The Dinney have got an extra £181 from me for a weekend that they will undoubtedly rebook for. The whole X cover thing is a cynical money-maker on the part of the Dinney and the customer services team just kept fobbing me off saying it was out of their hands. Book a hotel or airbnb instead and have some rights to cancel. I'm absolutely aghast at how little responsibility the dinney have taken over this.

We actually stayed at the The Dinney Farmhouse B & B last Saturday not a cottage just for 1 night and we found everything about our stay excellent. We were shown to our bedroom which had the most fantastic view from the window, It overlooked the garden with a lake in the distance plus beautiful countryside. I spent quite a while just looking out of the window as below in the garden which was still in flower, were chickens and 2 Indian runner ducks just roaming around, it was so lovely watching them. The room was absolutely spotless and a large comfy bed, hospitality tray with all you needed plus some really tasty biscuits. The bathroom was really modern with a shower, toilet and vanity unit sink, with drawers where you found a hairdryer and extra toilet rolls, if required. Lovely bath towels and hand towels. On the wall In the shower we found shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers. In the room there was a folder with lots of information plus showing us 3 walks for our dog, we didn't do any walks as she was exhausted from the day out. Breakfast was in a small cosy dining room where there was quite a comprehensive menu a great way to start the day and cooked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again but for longer it was so peaceful and the hosts so helpful and friendly.

This place is a little gem and we couldn't fault any part of our stay. Nestled in the most beautiful countryside with views across the Severn Valley. We stayed in the Waterside room in the bed and breakfast building. Room was bright, airy and spotless with a lovely view out to the gardens and resevoir. The hosts were very welcoming and cooked an amazing breakfast. 15 mins walk up a footpath into Chelmarsh village ( we had a nice meal at the Bulls Head). The cottages on the same site looked really lovely too from what we could see. Highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic weekend in the Kingfisher cottage. The cottage was lovely, warm and perfectly equipped so we could just relax and celebrate - the underfloor heating downstairs was a treat. The views from the cottage are far-reaching, once the fog had cleared, with plenty of walks, short and long, right from the cottage - no need to use a car if you dont want. The local pub did decent food and a nice pint of Guiness. What's not to like!

A beautiful B&B set in lovely countryside. The room we had was really nice and cosy. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for my wife and I and our little one in the cot they kindly provided. The owners were lovely and cooked us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. They even let our little girl see their chickens and pigs as we were leaving. We stayed in the bed and breakfast but they also have holiday cottages available. We’ll definitely stay again. 5 stars!!

A lovely place, well kept and in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and views. We stayed in a suite in the main B&B building which was essentially a cottage just for the two of us, with a bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and garden. Our breakfast was included and was delicious. They were flexible catering to our tastes (extra egg for my fiancé and no meat for me). The service was excellent. Very good value for money, we couldn't fault it.

We stayed at Drake Cottage first week in April and had a delightful time exploring Shropshire and downloading from stresses of busy life. The cottage was cute, well stocked and had very comfortable beds. Lovely patio from French doors gave picturesque views over the tumbling hills and land of the farm and we enjoyed time early mornings and watching the sunsets. Cottage had a bathroom to die for with Hollywood mirror and rainfall shower. We chose a property which was dog friendly and a 2hr walk each day roaming the fields, bridle paths and playing sticks in the pond was simply enjoyable. Thanks again for accepting us, we will be back

Lovely B&B located in the beautiful countryside. Room was clean, bed was comfy and loved the additional toiletries in the en-suite. Breakfast was 10/10 and had a great selection to choose from. Karen and Keith were most accommodating. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
