Spending few days in Dikencik Cottages has worth 2 months of my preceding holiday at the sea side. I practiced the excellence of silence, nature, natural food, listening only the whistles of wind in forest in silence, hospitality furthering friendship🙏🏾👏🏾

We stayed at Dikencik for 4 days with friends. Dikencik is a traditionally styled boutique property with lots of character offering a luxurious romantic escape in two well equipped buildings with all amenities. Beautiful antiques and stone floors whilst the bedrooms have wonderful wooden floors. Set in a mountainous landscape full of pine trees and seasonal orchids and mushrooms, it...

This was our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. A beautiful cottage in a forest setting with typical Turkish design and plenty of space to relax. The pool area was also lovely with shelter from the sun on either side on covered decked pergolas with comfy hammocks. The breakfasts were a feast only surpassed by the fabulous...

Dikencik Cottages is a truly life-changing experience; the hosts Ayse and Cengiz were there to greet me (infact Ayse came to collect me from Uzumlu as I was a solo traveller without transport and it was 36 degrees outside) and go out of their way to please you and make you feel comfortable. The house is beautiful: clean, bookshelves brimming...

Dikencik is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The wonderful Ayse and Cengis adapt to the way you want to pass the time. Breakfast is when you want it - we decided on 10 - a range of delicious fruity snacks appear during the day and dinner is served when it suits you. The food is all prepared...

Driving up the bumpy road to Dikencik is where it begins, that fluttering of excitement and anticipation as you enter the grounds. You may be greeted by the crowing of cockerels or a smile from a worker on organic farms as she tends the crops that may be your next dinner. Awaiting your arrival will be Ayse and Gengis. They...

I made a dreadful mistake. My booking at Dikencik Cottages, with Ayse and Cengiz, was only for two nights. Unfortunately I had no time to stay for longer. Read the other reviews, they are all spot on. A fabulous location. A fabulous experience. Thank you Ayse, Cengiz; and thank you for all the help you provided with mislaid items etc.

Our rooms where really great. The served food was exciting, very local, healthy and tasteful. The weather was perfect. The nature simply stunning! The place with buildings and pool had much higher quality than we could expect. To summarize: An awesome holiday experience for me and my wife!! We stayed there much longer than planned, and definitely would love to...

I had been in Dikencik Cottages many times and the last one was with my family in Summer 2015. Every visit starts with a new discovery of the Cottages and the environment since Ayse and Cengiz are great at keeping the place constantly evolving. Needlessly to say, everything in our previous stays was already great. At the beginning, my mind...
