We stumbled across this old pub whilst looking for somewhere to eat. The good sized car park was busy so we weren't optimistic about finding a table inside but we took it as a good sign of a good place. The staff were very helpful and checked they could give us a table. It was extremely busy and we waited...

Myself and a few girls hired a cottage in this beautiful part of Wales and asked the lady who owned the cottage for a recommendation for Sunday lunch.. The pub was typical of an old fashioned country inn and we loved it .. As far away from the chrome all singing and dancing pubs that you get these days with...

Food choices were excellent, some of our party could not make there mind up as so much basic pub choices were on offer. Good job our group did eat there for two nights. Whilst place is sited on a main road, did not hear too much road noise, whilst in restaurant or bar area, certainly not loud enough to stop...

Well took out visiting family of 8 to this little pub that was recommended by a friend of ours (we were also visiting the area) A true little old pub in the middle of Wales, old fashioned and behind the times and prob in need of some work all the way through. But I would imagine just not financially viable....

Hubby and I took Mother-in-Law for a meal yesterday - first time, but will certainly be going back. The food is just so delicious, I had homemade lasagne and I can honestly say it is the best lasagne ever. Hubby had Gammon, which was succulent and perfectly cooked. Mother-in-Law had the homemade steak and ale pie - pastry was superb...

We visited the Gwystre Inn on a family trip to Wales. We stayed for two nights in three different rooms. A boutique hotel it is not, but the staff are amazingly friendly and the service is excellent. The food is great and the menus are huge, there is bound to be something to suit everyones tastes. I would highly recommend...

Visited here for Sunday lunch yesterday with family. They seemed to be quite busy which made for a pleasant atmosphere, despite the unfriendly weather conditions. The service was excellent and the food was very nice indeed and very reasonably priced I must say. I had the Lamb and finished off with the Banana & Caramel Cheesecake - worth every penny....
