The hotel was picked and paid by my employers. I was a little bit afraid when i saw all the bad critics but it was a very nice surprise and relieved when i saw the room: clean, cosy, and beautiful. I arrived late so I didn't get to see the manager till the next morning. I got the codes before...

My son sat is end of secondary school exams in Albertville. So I booked a room at the hotel where they decided with his friends to stay, the main criteria being walking distance to the exams venue. So we drove there on a Saturday as he decided he wanted to get there one day earlier. So we had two bookings,...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the way to Courchevel. I don't know how this hotel is rated as 3 star. With a 3 star, you can usually count on a decent, no frills hotel. The room needed updating but was fairly clean. We just wanted to sleep and get out first thing in the morning. First...

Situated in a hotel with bar, etc, and OK room, with bathroom, etc, next to the railway station. Staff were not very helpful and found we could put the car in a garage but we needed to get the manager to let us in or out! Breakfast waspretty ordinary and only good thing was the restaurant down the road! Hotel...

Stayed here as part of a biking trip around Europe. Got to the hotel in the afternoon to find it locked and no staff on the desk. I wondered into the bar to find a barmaid doubling up as the receptionist. She said I had to pay up front and wanted to charge me €69 despite pre booking and paying...

We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday. The hotel door was locked as mentioned in the review above. Eventually we found the manager who stunk of booze. He wanted full payment up-front, but refused to actually show us the room! Needless to say we left him to it. What a shabby excuse for a hotel- don't stay here!

I booked 5 rooms here and left my credit card details as deposit. The day before travelling I received email confirming that the booking had been cancelled by the hotel and they had taken a 30% deposit. Very confused I contacted them to find that they had cancelled my 5 rooms and kept 2 rooms that my sister had cancelled....

Unknowingly, I violated my cardinal rule when booking here for July 2004: never book a hotel near the train station. Unfortunately it wasn't clear from the web site when we booked that this hotel was right next to the train station. Even in a town as small as Albertville, the train station area is a bit seedier than the rest...
