We arrived and they denied all knowledge of our booking (despite someone from the hotel ringing up our group organiser earlier to confirm and ask if we wanted to eat on the terrace). They did however find us all rooms (there were 9 of us) They then said we couldn't eat that night at all and told us to go...

Stayed here with wife and kids for a week in the early skiing season. 50 m. to the nearest lift was great, little but adequate room for skiing equipment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cozy bar and eating section. They also have a little 'kids only' tv/game room.

Rooms are rustic, only basic furnishings, beds very soft. Cenrally located it's only a 15 mins walk to the historic city center, with a bunch of awesome restaurants. We decided to dine out because the offered menu at the hotel was not very convincing. Nevertheless, the host was very friendly and did his best to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast...

A group of friends and I recently stayed at the Hotel Mont Prorel, and were all very happy with our stay. We took half board, which was more than we needed and delicious! The rooms are comfortable and lovely, and the bathroom was modern and clean. We would happily return!

Booked the hotel for two nights the day before coming in a middle of a cycling vacation. When we arrived, Julian greeted us warmly and gave the choice of two rooms. The bigger 1st floor, or the smaller double on the 2nd. Since we like having a balcony, we took the smaller room on the 2nd floor. The bed was...

The plusses: This hotel has an excellent location right next to the main skiing lift in Briancon, and if you are tired in the afternoon and decide to take a ski bus back from the large skiing area, it too stops right outside the hotel. It is very well managed by a friendly, helpful Englishman named Julian (a.k.a. "Jules"). The...

My third or fourth time here and the service is always excellent. A very basic and simple hotel in an excellent position. The rooms are comfortable and clean with spacious balconys on both the first and second floor. The rooms seem a little bigger on the fisrt floor. The staff are super friendly and the breakfast is great. It's also...

I stayed here with a group on a climbing vacation. When I arrived there was a group of English people watching Andy Murray play Fedderer at Wimbledon. I live in Switzerland and seemed to be the only person supporting Fedderer but it was fun and friendly. During the week we ate all but two of our meals at the hotel;...

This hotel is next to the Prorel bubble giving you access to the slopes of Briancon and Serre Chevalier very quickly. We were there for just a day but in that time were able to do a lot of skiing all across resort - the lift system makes it easy to move around. Our room was a good size and...
