Not far of the main street, just up a slight hill, this was a nice hotel, we had a room with a view of the Jacobshorn slopes. A kettle would have been a great addition to the room for hot drinks as there was not an actively open bar, we were told as we left that they could have offered...

If you come to Davos for skiing, you appreciate the following: A comfortable bed, location close to the slopes, shuttle bus, a good breakfast. The only one of these points where Hotel National could do a bit better is the breakfast. That was sufficient, but not very exciting. There is a coffee machine in the breakfast room that gives you...

I stayed here for a week on business in July 2013. The hotel is a short walk (up the hill!) from the Davos Platz railway station although the hotel will collect you on request. The hotel has a nice view over the valley. Breakfast is ample with nice coffee and tea options. Rooms are very clean and neat, bathrooms are...

My wife and I returned again after a year for a weekend "Ausflug", and I am pleased to report that the Hotel National is still as charming as ever. On this visit we stayed three nights at full board, so we experienced the full service of the kitchen, and were again pleased with the quality and the variety of the...

Central but quiet location, nicely refurbished rooms, good breakfeast and a very friendly and helpful service. All at a very reasonable price. I will come back ... and then also test the restaurant and the wellness facilities.

I was staying at Hotel National for one of the many conferences in Davos. Five nights in an excellent room, with excellent breakfast and even better staff. The service was like a five star hotel, which is pretty amazing considering the price I paid for the room. Their spa/wellness centre was cosy and spotless in every way, without the crowds...

We were in Davos for the SwissAlpine marathon. Arriving late on the Friday, the staff was very helpful with having everything organized. A special early breakfast was ready for runners at 5am at no extra charge or hassle. They even called to ensure that things I preferred to eat before a major run would be on hand. After the marathon...

My wife and I have been to the Hotel National three times over the last seven years. It is a fine “époque” mid-sized hotel in Davos that has a certain traditional Swiss charm to it. Previously Hotel National was run by a local family, and had a very dedicated clientele who had been coming to the hotel for years. The...

“We had room 420, the even numbered rooms had a sideways on view to the JacobsHorn. The hotel is very quiet.”

“We had a corner room giving us view over both the town and the mountains across the valley.”

“The rooms on the south side have nice big balconies with views over the small park, but the (cheaper) rooms on the other side also have good views over the village and to the mountains. So the decision is about having a balcony... and this might not be so important in the winter.”
