A small campsite that promised much from its website and nearly met expectations ...

Arrived at a weekend, having booked in advance (glad we did - it was packed), and shown a limited range of pitches from which we could choose ... we chose a pitch overlooking meadows and mountains (although if you look in the other direction you can see lots of other tents and the village/town of Fiscal and its by-pass!). If you get a good pitch, the sunrises and sunsets over the mountains are stunning, Campsite has a nice enough bar/restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner (although we preferred the alfresco pizza bar - which is also owned by the campsite owners - across the road).

Showers and toilets are cleaned regularly, although possibly not often enough for a busy campsite, and the toilet roll would always run out overnight. The block never actually got too dirty, just a bit too much hair and soap on the floor in the showers for my liking!
