The Roost Bed & Breakfast is set amongst the tranquil hills of Cyprus with stunning views over vineyards and countryside and located approximately half- way between Paphos to the south and Polis to the north. It is ideally placed to explore the western side of Cyprus including the Akamas peninsula or the Troodos mountains.Aimed at the discerning traveller who expects personal service and who aspires to the privacy and freedom of a villa, The Roost offers a child free* residential hypnotherapy and relaxation retreat. Our four en-suite bedrooms sleep no more than ten guests and provide an alternative to the anonymity of impersonal hotels for those who are looking to escape life’s everyday stresses and strains. We are just a few minutes walk to the traditional tulip village of Polemi *Children at The RoostWe are happy to accommodate guests with children but only if all four rooms are block-booked.Children love to play and explore but, due to the terrain around our guest house, adult supervision of children is essential. We also want to create a peaceful and calm ambience for our guests

We returned to the Roost for another brilliantly organised weekend around the event at Aphrodites Rock brewery. Nikki was (as always!) a super host, making us feel that nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the Lime room on the first floor, which has a double and a single bed and a bathroom with shower over the bath. The lovely large balcony was such a great place to sit that I spent the day there whilst my husband went to the beer festival (with Nikki being the "taxi" driver so that everyone could enjoy a drink.). Thank you again, Nikki - hope to see you again before too long!

Thank you. I always love hosting the weekend specials, and am happy to repeat the existing ones for the local Tulip festival in April and the beer festival in October. If anyone would like a bespoke weekend, then I would be delighted to put together some ideas. See you soon. NIkki

Just a quick one to say everything is still great, please read my other reviews. This review is to show you how lovely the whole set up is, please look at my photos. Some are panoramic(enlarge a bit and they should reveal even better coverage) Thanks again Niki and Gez, we will be back.......but don't know when!

Just back from 4 days B&B and then 7 days self catering and having this lovely Villa to ourselves. Have done many self catering 'Holls' in Cyprus with 'Villa Plus' holidays so can talk with experience on different levels/standards we have encountered. The Roost and its gardens easily matches the best we have been to and in some areas is in fact better. This is a very large Villa with 4 ensuite bedrooms and downstairs living accommodation which is very comfy and now has live British TV in all rooms, not important to everyone but maybe essential to others. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with large fridge and seperate freezer, dishwasher(which works very well) and washing machine which we did not use but large families will find very useful. Crockery,utensils/cutlery where very good quality and cooker and microwave worked fine. Nikki provides a welcome pack which is a great idea because some flights do land late in the evening and to have these items here is a God send. There were items like bin liners, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and washing up liquid available in the kitchen as were cool bags and shopping bags. Little things you may say but if you do self catering, things you need and items you would buy and probably not all use and leave behind. It's these little things that make this Villa better than other rental companies plus the fact Nikki is on hand to offer excellent advice and help when required. Other reviews(including mine) have mentioned about the facilities, so will not repeat. We had a brilliant time and will we go back again? the big question! Of course, already pencilled in next Sep/Oct(Brexit permitting!) Have tried to be fair for you and the hosts but I asked my wife if there was anything that could be better and genuinely could not find any real negatives. Hope this is of use, go ahead take the plunge, I am sure you will not regret staying at this lovely house and thank you Nikki/Gez for a great time and your excellent service.

We hired the whole villa for 7 nights in August. Nikki and Gez met us at the Airport upon our night arrival so we could follow them back safely and easily. The place looked amazing in the dark with all its garden lights everywhere and the pool glistening!! Then the next day we were astounded again by how beautiful it all looked in the daylight. It is a wonderful place to kick back and relax whether with family (as we were) or with friends. The villa had everything we needed and then there was Nikki and Gez to provide so much more!! They gave us an incredibly warm welcome and were on hand with advice throughout the holiday. They introduced us to (& arranged) a family Scuba Diving session which none of us had done before and booked us a beautiful meal at a Taverna one evening... and suggested loads more places on or off the beaten track. We have some lovely memories and lots and lots of pool pics... mainly because we couldn’t tear ourselves away!! Thanks Nikki & Gez, loved it all ☺️😁☺️

We decided last minute to stay for a night close to the mountain and winery area. Luckily, we were still able to stay in this beautiful villa. Even though we stayed for only one night, we could totally relax. Swimming in the pool with a beautiful view, enjoying a wine on the terras and the breakfast was delicious with warm croissants and home made jams. Thanks Nikki!
