A good sized cabin in a wonderful location. We booked for a week with a view to doing 7 Munros in the glen. We had the best sleep quality ever here as it is so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the cabin. We saw deer meander through the trees and watched the birds come and go from the feeder. Frank and Juliet are the perfect hosts. They really do take an interest in their guests and spend time to know you, providing lots of helpful information too. There are a lot of people who regularly return to holiday in the cabins and it is a ideal location for visit Beauly and Inverness etc. the nearby Cnoc Hotel is wonderful too and worth a visit for a meal or drinks. I would recommend a stay at Culligran Lodges. You won’t be disappointed.

It is the incredible friendly hosts, the most stunning location, and the value for money accommodation that keeps us coming again and again. This is now our Annual trip, which we will be enjoying for many years to come. The accommodation we use is the Cherry Cottage, which sleeps 6 persons, a double downstairs, and two twin rooms up stairs. The cottage has a comfortable separate lounge (with board games), kitchen diner, a shower room downstairs, and a bathroom upstairs. Plenty of room for a big family, a few couples, or like us... more than enough room for the three of us (Myself, my fiancé and my father in law... baby on the way). There are 4 chalets on site too, but plenty of room to not be on top of one another, and a communal area at the back of the cottage with large freezer, washing and drying facilities. Frank, Juliet (and little dog Zoe) are on hand for any needs, whether to rent a bike to cycle the glen, for recommendations of nearby eateries or trips, or to get a fishing permit for trout and salmon. There are so many places to visit near by, and we often enjoy driving around the highlands to see the national trust sites, beaches, local towns, waterfalls... the list goes on! Our most favourite times are spent in Glen Strathfarrar, and for the boys as they get to fly fish on the river. Our favourite place to eat (so I don’t have to cook) is the Cnoc Hotel, a short drive or walk from the site. Frank also has a deer farm on site, and we look forward to bringing baby next year for a deer farm tour!

Simple but clean traditional cottage sleeping up to six. Only one shower on lower floor although there is a bathroom upstairs which could/should have another shower unit installed. Who takes bath's these days?? Waste of water, especially on a £1 electricity meter and an immerser. Electric shower was adequate for four but six?? Outstanding scenery!!

We have holidayed in these chalets for over 30 years and have come to know the area very well. Frank and Juliet are excellent hosts and many of their customers come back year after year. If you want all mod cons, then this is not the place for you. There is no TV reception, limited WiFi and mobile phone signal. Only 2 of the chalets have showers, the rest have baths. Only the cottage has a dishwasher. There is a communal washing machine and tumble drier on the site. However when you look out of the window to see the deer grazing outside, a badger wandering past, a woodpecker on the birdfeeder, or a golden eagle soaring in the sky, none of this matters. We love this place for its isolation. It's a 24 mile round trip to the nearest shop in Beauly, and yet in 30 minutes you can be in Inverness if you want the theatre or bigger shops. The glen is closed with a locked gate across the bottom, managed by a gatekeeper, and only so many cars are allowed up it every day. There are many lovely walks in the area, some of them very challenging, and fishing is available on the river. If you want peace, quiet, fresh air, wildlife and relaxation then this is the place to stay.

The cottage was finished to a high standard and owners were very helpful with arranging fishing for beginners and many other helpful tips. We were told that if we left peanut butter bread out at night we might get to see a badger and we sure did! Weather was good, had only a couple days rain in the week we stayed and we were lucky to catch a meteor shower the first night we were there. Our 4-year-old son insisted to walk to the nearby river every morning and evening, he absolutely loved the place! I highly recommend!

Dog friendly lodges are well equipped and clean. The lodges are in a great location for walking and the salmon fishing is on your door step. We booked 3 days salmon fishing, we didn't catch any but we saw 7 salmon jumping. The scenery is breathtaking in all weather, but be aware of the midgies. The owners Frank and Juliet are warm and friendly

Had a great two weeks in the cottage over Easter. Frank and Juliet were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The weather was typically Scotland at Easter - a mixed bag, however that did not detract from the stay. The accommodation was good value for money with plenty of room for the 5 of us and two dogs, - who loved it. Many great family days out and evenings in - also can recommend the Cnoc Hotel for a decent pub meal. The road to the top of Loch Monar is a fantastic way to see Scotlands wonderful countryside. I even ran the 26 miles there and back to prepare for a marathon. - Great experience saying hello to all the wildlife. Thanks for a great stay.

Once again stayed in Birch chalet with family, this is the three bedroomed chalet and has an over the bath shower, if you want a walk in shower you need to book Cherry Cottage ! Being the chalet closest to the trees we found that the last week in August was the place for the midge to congregate...good job we planned in advance and took loads of citronella ! Since we last stayed in this chalet it has had a re-fit and the kitchen units are lovely, maybe in the next couple of years the cooker may be replaced to finalise a full update ! The internet(free) has been a touch iffy and the best place to use a laptop in this chalet is next to the sink !!! We don't miss the lack of TV and do take a radio with us

Stayed in the Lodges in July , Frank and Juliet could not do enough for you. The Lodges are large Bright and comfortable for a family of 4 with a well equipped kitchen Only down side is no shower but there is a bath. ( there is in the 3 bedroom.) The location is fantastic 10 miles from Beauly a Short drive from glen Affric and a half an hour from inverness. Glen strathaffar itself is stunning with a 15 mile private track running through it which is perfect for cycling from loch to loch . There are munros at the foot of it and plenty of stunning hills to walk in. you can also book fly fishing on the river which runs past the chalets. Great stay would return.

Frank and Juilet are always welcoming and very helpful if needed ! This time we stayed in Willow, a 2 bedroomed chalet, took a grandson with us also. Like the other chalet we had to put the boards on the top bit of the window as the sun came through early morning and woke us ! Only have 2 more chalets to stay in and we have done them all hehehe I have some lovely photos of the Glen right up to the water spout and if anyone would like to see them let me know.
