What a unique place, Set inside a wildlife park dedicated to the preservation, breeding and resettling of endangered species and basically open from early morning to night to residents. The hotel is unique in its decoration and its views. Several of the rooms downstairs are painted with wild animal scenes, none more impressive than the dining room. The bedrooms are...

We stayed last Saturday night with our two daughters (8 & 10) in the Charlie Chaplin Suite. We all had a very enjoyable experience, from being shown around and given a little history when we first arrived, working out what animals are on the dining room walls whilst having having dinner (we finally figured its a wolverine on the log...

We stayed there for two nights in the main hotel in a junior suite, the Lloyd George room. The room was excellent, the bed was huge and so comfy, the bathroom was lovely, the furniture was beautiful but the view was amazing!!! We both loved our stay, it did get rather loud and we couldn't get served in the bar...

Find it a bit difficult to rate this place as things were a bit varied. It's not cheap so I would expect a lot more and staff to be really on the ball and they weren't. In the bar in the restaurant and at breakfast you need to go looking for staff and things just seemed to take forever. The...

Loved everything about Port Lympne Hotel. Such a gorgeous hotel full of character, charm, history and beauty! Everything from the views from the bedroom, to the grand staircase, to the beautifully painted rooms was perfection. The grounds and gardens were also magnificent. We booked via a Travel Zoo deal....and this was outstanding value. I upgraded for a nominal amount to a suite. We were allocated the Mountbatten Suite which has great views across to the Channel. Well worth it. The hotel is also not far from the impressive Ashford Designer Outlet Centre which is a good stop on the way there or...

The memsahib and I took a 24hr. package (B&B in the hotel plus afternoon tea and entry to the Park) last week and it exceeded expectations. A bit thank you to Sam, John and Callum, we had a delightful stay in a super hotel entrenched in history. It's a sheer delight made more pleasurable by lovely staff. The golf buggy is a must if you've trouble walking as very hilly. Marvellous gorillas!
