This was such an incredible tour. The 3rd generation owner of the farm has been working hard over the last decade to diversify their offerings beyond commercial sale, and branching into retail and the B&B space. The owner does the tour himself, and his wife accommodates hikers with fresh lemonade when they arrive. The hike from minca is about an hour and 20 minutes. The hike down is roughly 35-40 minutes. This was our time, and were experienced hikers. You can pay motor bikers to take you up for a small fee. Highly recommend over the more commercialized tours in the area. Very hospitable and informative
Interesting, tasty and funny chocolate tour (COP 25'000 per Person). We even got a chocolate face mask... ;-) Friendly people focusing on sustainable chocolate and coffee. We definitely recommend going there!
Excellent experience. The cacao and coffee are organic and really good. Fantastic view and weather. People are very friendly. I loved the Chocolate face therapy, the chocolate with tamarindo, cold brew coffee and the walk through the forest.
My girlfriend and I were the only in attendance the day we visited for the cacao tour and we had an amazing time! Eugenio and Ana did everything possible to make us feel at home, and also presented us with a very informative tour. We highly recommend!
When we arrived at la candelaria for a Cacao tour we are hosted by Eugenio and Ana, the owners. They instantly make you feel home and were really welcoming. The cacao tour last for 45/60min with live demonstration and product tasting. The place located uphill was beautifull and we admired one of the best sunset of Minca! We loved this place! We totally recommand the place!
