We stayed for a week in April in a cottage a few hundred yards away. We visited the pub 4 out of the 6 nights that we stayed in the village, choosing to eat there one evening too. The landlord was very friendly, chatty and always welcomed us as if we'd been living in the village for years. This is...

Very good carvery on Sunday - lovely meal with lots of veg and 4 different meats to choose from. Staff were all very friendly and the log burner in the main bar was a bonus on a wet and miserable January Sunday. An excellent meal.

Because it was so quiet the dining room was closed although they were still serving food as normal, just in the bar. The...

We love this pub. It's very friendly and Colin does amazing Sunday roasts, which are a must and you need to book in advice as is always busy. Good food and ales. Friendly locals and cute pub pooches wonder around, you can bring your own pooches in too.

We tried the Green Dragon after a recommendation at our holiday cottage- it was a delicious meal, served by friendly and welcoming staff! We had steak - it was superb and served in their restaurant. There was a range of items on the menu ... we were spoilt for choice. We'll definitely call in again!
