Me and my girlfriend visited yesterday afternoon for a Sunday dinner and to say it was fantastic was an understatement. I was lucky as I only phoned to book on the Sunday morning but thankfully there was a spare table upstairs. One pork dinner and one beef with treacle tart and panna cotta to follow. The only reason I've given...

We have lunch here last Sunday and the whole experience was faultless. The service, the food and atmosphere were perfect. I had potted rabbit followed by the roast lamb. The lamb and all the vegetables were delicious. I was too full for a dessert but enjoyed a nice glass of port. This is the first time I've been to the...

After a long stroll round the Shibden Valley, we stopped in to the Shibden Mill for a cup of tea and a little bit of defrosting!! I have walked past many, many times but never been in. I was not disappointed by the heat that hit you as soon as you walked through the door - roaring fire an a...

Last night we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a dinner for 23 people in the grill room. The setting was just superb with the room set up with one large table and pre dinner drinks in the lounge area. We agreed a menu with the team in advance and the food was spot on. The team really looked after...

As usual the Mill Inn was superb for Sunday lunch. Roast pork was tremendous. Only downside was that I was too full for desert but the rice pudding looked and tasted fantastic. Lovely cosy place and certainly one of the best places in West Yorkshire for Sunday lunch.

Our first visit to Shibden Mill Inn was several weeks ago and we enjoyed the meal so much we decided to go back on the 22nd October. We had not pre-booked on either occasion but every effort was made to find us a table. The service is consistently excellent, genuinely warm and welcoming. The restaurant was busy, the staff are...

Fancied somewhere different to stay, found this cosy guest house. Restaurant very popular and busy. Food was good not much of a choice, the Panna Cotta dessert was the best part, selection of fruit layers. Ordered sparkling water, served me a large bottle for one which I thought was cheeky of the waitress.

My partner took me out to this resturant for a birthday meal. We went to the Grill room upstairs. The food was very good well presented and the value was brilliant. We were served by a very nice lady who had just been taken on full time and what an asset she will be to this establishment. Well done one...

Great atmosphere in a beautiful setting . Went on a Monday evening with some work friends and nearly every table full which was pleasing . Country pub feel with that bit of style and quality thrown in ... excellent all round .
