Clean hotel with nice bungalow style rooms. We only stayed for one night on our way back home. The night was quiet and the hotel grounds are pretty big. They have a nice 'tree house' bridge deck fruited tressle for good photo ops! A buffet breakfast with egg station was satisfying.

Great Mountain View! Recommended for a city escape! The best part of this hotel is the panoramic Mountain View which can be seen at the back of the hotel. It's really great for a getaway. However, there was nothing much around the hotel area. Restaurants and convenient stores are in short driving distance. The room was great. There is a nice balcony where you can sit and chill. There were quite some insects and mosquitoes, but the hotel also provides a net that covering your bed.

First and foremost we would like to commend the hospitality of the staff esp. K. Tui(see the atteched photo with the group) for the warm welcome shes so really an outstanding staff whose arranged all our needs. The place was amazing and perfect place to relax. We love the rooms that can accomodate up to 5 person or even more depend on the room booked (room type). Over all the place was perfect...5 star for that. Flaps: 1.one night as we were sitting at the lobby with my friends one of the staff was too rude to us. She turned off the light at the lobby without giving explanation why? We work at the Hotel industry as well so this gesture is not acceptable why she need to do that? 2. There is no other restaurant nearby exept the one next to the hotel. 3. Some area needs improvements such as the pool and most of all the common toilet (occupied by mosquitos) and no bath amenities (soap and shampoo) 4. Lastly, they need to improve their wifi connection in the room. Over all exerience was good and recommendable.. (visited 1st week of October 2016)

A very first time visit this place, Wang Namkaew is known as the 7th least polluted place on earth and I am so pleased with it reputation. The hotel is locate on the hill side with a stunning view 360 degree of greenery scenery!! The house is perfect for group travelers with difference range of rooms from 2 person up to 40 persons in one house! I find that this is the very best place to stay if you really want to rest, apart of resting you can also order dinner and eat in your own house with full services provided and food is so delicious. Recommendation is in the evening before sunset the hotel has a service of foot herbal therapy available at the balcony near by the lobby in which is the best spot to take photos of the sunset valley. Strongly recommend to anyone who want to visit Wang Namkeaw! PS. The other thing which make the entire stay very appreciated is the staff, they are very friendly, helpful and also optimistic :)

I was stayed here for 2nights. The picture of the room on the website was not exactly the same when i was arrived. I got "maroom4" house with the very bad bad view, the garbages was floating in the pond infront of house's balcony.. like empty bottles of whiskey and beers and they was on the rooftop of the house too. The house was so old not like the pic on the web (They take the most beautiful house on the web but when i came, different house and different view.) Moreover, there's no plug in at the bedhead and also infront of the mirror in the bathroom! So i asked for an upgrade, the reception named "Ple" was not provided any service even a smile! She always frown at me when she see me and i dont undersatand why?! She told that her client will come tomorrow and its fully booked. So i call to the sales of the hotel and she can upgrade me to the room "maroom1" which is exactly the same as the pic on website on the second night. Then i dont know what's wrong with the reception "Ple", the next day i asked her for laundry service, she frowned at me and just answered.. "We have no laundry service." She dont even suggest the laundry nearby or willing to help us with anything!! I think the person with the attitude like this and have no service mind at all like her should not be work as a reception. Plus, the house's rate should be different with the location, the view and facilities. Totally ruined my vacation here... To whom may concerns.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2014, my wife and 3 year old daughter. We were forced to book a child bed as it is hotel policy. We were booking the only available room the "Maroom" On arrival we found our twin bed was 3 singles pushed together, plus a crappy matress on the floor, the ants all over the floor meant there was no way my daughter would sleep down there. Lucky I guess she was able to sleep on one of the adjoining single beds to ours. The room walls were also very very dirty with patches of cracks and peeling paint. The bathroom has an open window / hole that allows the mosquitoes to fly in and out at will. We asked for an upgrade, none were available, we complained about the ants and matress on floor, the matress was gone the second day. No refund was offered on the 550 baht a night floor matress. The breakfast was the standard Thai & western buffet, ham, eggs and toast, plus fruit, plain Thai soup and bland fried rice. The staff were reasonably friendly with very little English skills so my Thai wife had to do all the communication. We were led to believe they had a good restaurant, but it was not even open at night. fortunately there were good options away from the resort. The resort grounds themselves were very beautiful. One last positive is my daughter left her favorite toy Tiger behind and one of the staff (at our request) who happened to be coming to Bangkok brought it for my wife to go and pick up. The room was definitely not value for more money especially with useless extra child bed added to the price.

We had a wonderful stay here, but if you are looking to pick this apart you may find many faults. The beds aren't very comfortable, the breakfast selection is a bit limited, and it seems they are in the process of improving a lot. However, if you look past these little things, you will fully enjoy a warm and friendly resort. Breakfast is not what any farang might expect, but delicious and fresh nonetheless. We loved staying in our "bunga" as it had a cute little alcove for our child to sleep in and a beautiful balcony with views of a picturesque valley. Our children LOVED the resort and are already asking to go back-the small pool had a waterslide that was a hit with the older child. The "Cafe On-Tree" and sitting areas below with lovely koi fish pools was also charming and a favorite of the kids. We had dinner there one night and it was fantastic, and there are a ton of great places nearby to eat as well. The location is perfect, although a bit far from the main entrance to Khao Yai National Park, but the drive there is a charming road that meanders through small towns, gorgeous farmland, and a few fantastic wineries. Service was excellent, especially considering we were the only farang at the resort. The menus and information are only in Thai, so be forewarned, but the staff will try their hardest to help you out. We felt welcome the entire time, and had a wonderful stay.
