The absence of a decent sized swimming pool automatically subtracts one star from my rating system. So this place is starting with a four and that's where it ends up. We arrived at 1:00 AM after an arduous road trip but were met by one of the night staff and taken to our room/ building without incident. The room was large, the bed very comfortable with four pillows on its top. There was no room safe though and this can be a matter of concern. Everything here is spacious. The grounds, the dining and common areas and the incredible bathroom which may be the largest and most innovative and imaginative we have ever experienced. It alone is worth a visit. The breakfast was limited to American or Thai and was quite good on both accounts. There was yogurt and cereal available too as well as Thai and traditional tea as well as coffee and juice. Toast was served along with butter and a delicious local jam. Outside is a small childrens playground which is a nice touch. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. At some places a person just feels at home , comfortable and genuinely welcome. This is one of them. We would have liked to stay an additional night but were on a schedule and had to leave. The next time we will stay longer.

We stayed at this small and nice resort only for one night. A Na Pa Na has really beautiful and green area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good as both service and taste. Bungalows were decorated nicely and very clean. Especially bathroom was like a garden with plants. Its a good place to take a rest but I think It would be better if there were some activities to spent time. The resort was located on the main road so you can easily find nice local restaurant Anyway I recommend to stay here if you visit this area.

We stayed at this small and serene place in August 2013 for two nights. Five families, mix of small - big children and senior citizens. Pros: a small, lush green place in the area. Great staff, very helpful and always smiling. Good food, some choices you have in nearby area also. Green area, they have nice bike rental (free) program and golf cart for your commute in resort. Cons: The resort doesn't have a swimming pool, so sometimes kids can get bored. Location in not "Khao Yai", but wang nam khiao. The national park is some 93km (no typo, 93 km) away. The breakfast is "set" instead of buffet, so sometimes restaurant and staff gets really busy and it tales time. And last, you need your vehicle here- if you move around for sightseeing. In details: A small and very green property, small in the sense number of rooms, but area is quite big. Well worth if you like green, serene area. Small nooks and corners you will find very cozy and picturesque. One of our friend found a place to admire nearby jungle and sunset while just roaming within property. Our children had a blast with bikes- they just did that and forgot that the resort doesn't have a swimming pool :) . Room was nice and big enough. Bathroom and w/c are outdoors - covered but like "open air"- very nice indeed. Some rooms are near small lake, but the lake was not that great, so no particular advantage here. Rooms are decorated or rather painted with different flower theme - a nice touch. Staff gets five stars- very helpful, attentive and smiling all the time. We had great company of Khun Aey (hope I have correct name here) - girl in front desk / restaurant area. Very cheerful a helping. She arranged good vegetarian breakfast / food for us. Location is not very great, on the highway, and quite far from Khao Yai park. Still you have great many places nearby- in fact we skipped Khao Yai and went to nearby places (by car- some 40 km one way journey) and found very scenic spots- lots of beautiful jungle tracks and cafes. We found Cup of Love a good cafe to spend time on this way. We also had dinner one day at nearby restaurant called "Khun Toi's" - very nice place, food was good and reasonable. You have a 7-11 at PTT station - some 3-4 km away from resort. All in all, this was nice long weekend spent. We were all satisfied and happy, and would recommend to anyone looking at something newer / different place "near" Khao Yai.

We stayed there only for 1 night and I wish that we spent longer time there. the resort was really nice and the staff was really friendly. our bungalow was far from the check-in building so the best way to get there was by the golf cart. so unless you want to take a long walk, you need to call the reception and ask them to send a golf cart to pick you up. (it wasn't very far but sometimes you just feel too lazy to walk.. plus it was raining all day when we stayed there) I love the washroom. it was open air with unique design so you could reassure that nobody will see you. the wi-fi connection was available in your room and the connection was good. Breakfast was nice, although it was quite basic but it was delicious. The resort was located on the main road so you can easily find nice local restaurant or drive to sightseeing locations the resort was good and we would definitely go back!

My friends and me stayed at this resort for 2 nights in August 2012. It was a great experience. Staff was extremelly friendly althought a few of them spoke English. They provide a welcome drink before checking-in and drop to bungalow by a trolley-car. Bungalows look like a concrete boxes but they are quite spacious and nice inside. Especially a restroom which is like a garden with plants. The resort looks new, some bungalows were under construction. There is a restaurant in the resort but it serves only breakfast untill 10 am, you cannot have lunch or dinner there. But it's not a big problem coz there is a couple local restaurants nearby with cheap prices and good food. If you come here for Khao Yai National Park, you should know the resort is located in 60 km to the main entrance. It could be a problem to reach the park without a car. The road leading to the park from A Na Pa Na Resort is very picturesque with plenty of nice view points.
