Nice hotel on the river Kwai. The room are basics but the complex propose a lot of activities and that's what make this place amazing. The restaurant is also really good and the breakfast alright. Big swimming pool.

Situated in a pretty location, this resort has a massive pool and slides, good value thai massage on site and clean (though tired) rooms. Beyond this, however, there is little to like. Key things include: * Confusing navigation around the resort. * Really ordinary breakfast. * Kitsch kid-focussed items throughout the resort. * Significantly out of the way from anything...

A great location next to the river located in spacious, well kept grounds. Child friendly with many statues in the grounds that would appeal to very young children. The rooms needed maintenance and were not suitable to spend time in during the evening due to lack of lighting. Needed a good facelift.Evening meal was fairly good although breakfast was abysmal....

The hotel area is huge and beautiful. Breakfast included is ok, not great. Staff at the reception desk can not speak English, except one lady, but she speaks very good. In general, the room was ok but does not worth that money. And there was something (some device) very loud outside our room, we could barely sleep. Did not like...

I and my friend stayed there for 1 night which received a friendly welcome by staff in the evening around 8.00 PM. Hotel is good for relax and travelling by own car will be better because of their location. Only 1 thing which surprise us is they do not accept for credit card and have to pay in cash only...

The resort has the best location and views. Location wise it is very near to the attreactions like Saiyoke Yai, Saiyoke noi, far from the city but near the natural beauties. Very old resort and needs renovations in the room urgently. They have lots of vegetarian items in their menu or you can order too. lots of activities for kids...

The staff weren't helpful communication was bad and misleading, there was no taxis to get anywhere and the hotel was very out the way. It took around an hour to find a local 7/11. Bad location overall. Food was terrible, shower was one of the worst. we was not places anywhere near the river or where was shown in the...

Checked in at the same time a large group did, and this seamed to create some minor issues, but the staff battled through, and got us our rooms. Room key must be in the slot, so every time you go to the pool, cafe, bar, restaurant for more than 5 mins, you come back to a boiling hot room, that...

Turned up without booking and paid 2600 baht for a room floating on a raft on the river. Room was outdated, tired and in need of renovation, but seemed clean enough. Bathroom barely acceptable in terms of maintenance and quality of fittings. TV very old and susceptible to overheating. Aircon effective. Insects problematic due to location on the river. Beautiful...

The Pung-Waan Resort is a good hotel if you're passing through the area. We stayed for 1 night, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer than 2-3 days. The hotel is surrounded by nature and I would recommend taking a swim in the swimming pool. The rooms are decorated in an old fashioned way and the Wifi isn't available everywhere. The...
