This is an interesting place - converted from an old farm complex (Grange) with modern rooms inside an old stone building that run down towards the river (Isere). To get to most of the rooms you go down from the entrance. Our room was small but had a lovely terrace surrounded by vines (kiwi fruit) looking out to the river....

We have been to many Logis hotels during previous years and have come across many different levels of quality. I have to rate this as one of the not so good - the room was small (10 - 12 m2) small showeroom and minuscule separate wc. The equipment in the bedroom can only be described as basic (no hairdryer or...

This hotel is really in a nice location: in front of the River Isere. Beautiful view on the river, very silent and romantic. I was in a confortable room, with a nice terrace, perfect for my dog. We can have a long walk around the area. The restaurant is excellent: good quality, a nice choise of the tipical foods, the...

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are very small (almost as if they decided to turn an attached building to a hotel and fit as many rooms as they could). According to the French hotel clasification system, it has 2 stars. It would have been much better to have larger rooms. Although there is wi-fi, my...

We stayed for two nights on our way down to and returning from the South of France. It is a lovely location on the bank of the Isere river. We were lucky enough to be given balcony rooms both times with views of the river. The rooms though quite small were very clean and comfortable. Downside was toilet had no...

The Vieille Grange is located 2 kms outside the village on the banks of the Saône. The rural location is pleasant enough and we enjoyed local walks during our stay. The hotel is set around a small courtyard that will certainly be pleasant in good weather. Rooms are small but as this is a 2 star hotel, they serve well...

This small hotel and restaurant outside of Romans France is a perfect tranquil setting with excellent food. We had a small room with terrace, that overlooked the L'Isere River. Hidden behind acres of fruit orchards, it is worth the drive. We had stayed here by recommendation of a tourist office 6 years ago in Tournon, and couldn't have been happier....
