The bed was excellent and very comfortable. The room was very nice and quiet. I did find one of the male reception staff to be a little snooty! The bar and restaurant staff were extremely nice. The food was excellent! The spa facilities were very goid and likewise, the staff there were extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it!

Lovely place with great scenery and walks. Went for the weekend to one of the cottages as we had a dog. Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you could need. The dog loved the surrounding walks and trip over to tarbert on the ferry. Ate both nights in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Breakfast was just as good with attentive friendly staff. So nice to be able to take a very well behaved springer with us for food in the dog friendly part of the restaurant. Already planning a return trip after Christmas. Thanks for a great weekend!

This place is amazing. Beautiful setting, lovely facilities, great food and brilliant staff. If you are in need of a relaxing break then this is just the place to unwind. Wish we'd found it sooner, can't wait to go back.

A great stay in Portavadie Lodge room 10. The room was spacious, clean, warm and very comfortable with a great view. The leisure club was great, with indoor and outdoor swimming, and the spa was very nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast both days, where staff were very attentive and friendly, making it a great experience especially as my partner is coeliac and was well looked after. We would highly recommend a visit of at least two days to enjoy the experience.

2 night stay with my daughters in a waterfront ground floor apartment. We loved it! The apartment was warm, so comfortable, beautifully furnished. It had everything we needed. Views were fabulous from the living area. Spa was a highlight. We went at 4pm and the experience of the cosy infinity pool, lit up a warm Mediterranean blue, coupled with the cold air temperature, the mist coming down over the hills and the steel grey of the loch a few feet away made for a very atmospheric setting. The whole spa experience was lovely. The staff very friendly and helpful. The Marina restaurant also excellent. The setting is spotless, a huge plus for me, that included the attire of the staff! The staff have had excellent training and they make it special. We only had breakfast, which was very nice. Again the views of the marina are beautiful. This was my first visit but it won’t be my last. My one tiny complaint, which is minuscule against the huge positives, is a safety issue for your less mobile guests. In the bathroom there is a grab rail for getting into the bath but there really needs to be one also at the shower end, at a height that will allow guest to use the shower safely. I had to be super cautious as there was nothing to hold on to. …

Had a lovely stay at cottage at Portavadie marina. Everything you’d need included & lovely & quiet. Breakfast was included & great choice of hot & cold food. Nice atmosphere in the dining area & comfy sofas upstairs -great for a relaxing drink. Stunning location & lots of paths for walking close by. Use of gym & pool for free 90 minutes daily & excellent facilities-would have liked it open earlier but didn’t spoil our time there. Will definitely go back next year.

Another wonderful visit to Portavadie, and as always I didn't want to leave. I can't quite put my finger on what it is that puts Portavadie at the top of my list, the apartment was luxurious, warm and welcoming, the staff at The Marina Restaurant are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the different items on the menu, the spa and leisure facilities are great and of course the location is one of a kind. Put it all together and you get simply the best spot for a relaxing, and reviving break. Planning my next trip already .........

We are regular visitors to Portavadie the infinity pool overlooking the Loch is what keeps us coming back. The seal visit was exciting and captivating as we bathed in the warm water of the infinity pool. This time we were disappointed in the options for lunch /dinner menus. Breakfast was excellent as always. Please bring back the pizzas and the bistro they were amazing . All staff were friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the lifeguards who were still friendly and welcoming even in the cold weather.

Despite the weather, we had a wonderful 3 days at Portavadie on Loch Fyne. Great accommodation and the pool area is one of the best we've been to. Fabulous infinity pool looking across the Loch. Food was really good and staff were lovely. We'll be back.

We Love Portavadie, we honeymooned here in 2015 but we've been visiting since 2009/10. Staff are always lovely, food is always first class and we'll continue to return. We've stayed in most of the available accommodation but usually choose the Studio Appartments as they are dog friendly! Love it!
