Good news is a beautiful location and view and very comfortable beds. The resort got new owners on 1 Nov after 5 years in receivership. Improvements are in progress but will take some time. I'd be happy to stay there again and expect my rating will be higher then.

If we had thought we were staying in a room in a pub with a gumboot bar and pokie machines this would have been great! But this place is advertised as a resort which it is definitely not. This place has the basics of an excellent facility - full kitchen, wonderful view...but unfortunately there were too many broken, poorly maintained...

Very nice accomodation, great views. Food from the bar/ restaurant was excellent as well the service. The area is renowned for the seafood esp crayfish...was disappointed that it did not feature on the menu. The room we had had views to die for, well furnished and quiet ( we were there on a Tuesday night) there are reviews that it...

What a total disappointment. I decided to stay a night. The music was loud and went well over the 1 am time they said it would finish. Lots of drunk people who continued to get served even though they were well over the limit. The manageress was rude and dismissive. The lift didn't work. The rooms didn't even function properly....

I had the misfortune of eating at this supposed 4star establishment . The occasion didn't start off well with the disgruntled bar maid continuing to speak on the phone while 'serving' . I don't need a lot of attention just a smidgeon of focus to get the order right. I do have to preface my understanding and sympathy that the...

We have stayed here many times, but the property is starting to look tired and there is a lack of repair. The service is lovely and friendly. Our latest stay was just my husband and I and when we arrived we were told there were 2 functions being held that night. The noise carried onto 3 am and the following...

Stopped by for one night. Accommodation was fine, location is great but it's a shame the staff aren't up to standard. We got the impression that we were an inconvenience. Worst part was the music blaring from the bar until beyond midnight on a Sunday night. Not impressed

Good people especially Ray. Great location. Good food, we had the burgers. Awesome rooms with lovely views over the pool. Well worth the more than reasonable money. Sunsets on the balcony outside the bar. Paradise.

The food is great, the customer service on the other hand is all kinds of rude. One night we were driving back from the east cape having picked up a German tourist and his car after he had had a bit of an accident, hungry and tired we decided on Fish&Chips at TK. After waiting 15minutes to be served by...

Travelling along the East cape and stumbled upon Te Kaha Beach Resort, first for dinner but were surprised that there was accommodation there. Was not expecting the high level of standard but absolutely loved our stay. Restaurant FOOD IS AMAZING, cheap and large portions, GREAT value for money. The view in the morning is to die for, and the rooms...
