Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful accommodation in lovely farmhouse, very large room and bathroom with luxury toiletries. Pippa and Tim are excellent hosts and the food was superb. Safe storage for our tandem. Would definitely recommend.

Tim and Pippa are the best hosts. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. The rooms are out of this world. Our bathroom was huge with everything you could need in it. Pippa's breakfast had everything home made bread, freshly made jam, all home grown fruit fresh eggs from her hens. Freshly squeezed orange juice. And she made little sweet treats for after our full English breakfast. We will be back Pippa and Ian thanks for our stay.

We arrived driven by chance and have been received with great hospitality. The accommodation is faultless. The space of the kitchen and the food was very nice, as was the company and conversation. Thank you Pippa and Tim.

My husband and I stayed in the Mansfield when we were in Greenlaw at a family party. From the moment we arrived Pippa and Tim made us feel totally at home. From the coffee and cake available on arrival to the home made bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and amazing eggs for breakfast. The room was lovely with everything we needed including a huge ensuite. We'll be back for our next child free break.

Pippa & Tim have the most glorious home which they fortunately welcomed us into over the last couple of nights. All of the rooms are wonderfully spacious and beautifully furnished: our bed was heavenly; the shower was like standing under a waterfall; the breakfast was amazingly presented and absolutely delicious to eat. All of the details that you could wish for have been considered by Pippa: huge bath towels; fresh milk for your morning cup of tea; lovely toiletries - nothing is too much trouble. We even got to feed the lambs!! We are looking forward to a return trip already.

We had a lovely stay in a more than comfortable room. Beautifully decorated, huge bathroom and everything provided. We wanted for nothing. Tim and Pippa exceptional hosts who fed us like kings. We hope to return for longer next year to visit Edinburgh and Berwick.

Pippa and Tim welcomed us into their lovely family home as if we were old friends, even though we booked at short notice. Our room was large and comfortable with a huge en suite. The shower was fantastic and having a lovely soft bathrobe to wear after a shower was a real luxury. A delicious breakfast with home-baked bread was served with a view out onto the garden and the log fire was much appreciated on a chilly morning. Greenlaw is in a great location for exploring the Borders so I would highly recommend a stay at Mansefield B&B if you want to visit this beautiful part of Scotland.
