This is a village pub that serves excellent food. Ate her twice further to recommendation from where we were staying. Would definitely recommend lamb and beef in Guinness and curry. Lovely old pub which caters for locals and visitors.

Visited on a rainy Saturday Night after walking from the campsite. The pub was very busy but the food was very good. I had a ploughmans which was delicious and a large plateful. Good choice of ales would recommend.

Yes, I believe so. When we visited one of the other diners had a dog with them. Admittedly, I think they are a local and frequent visitor but I don't see why they would treat them differently.

We are looking for accommodation arriving on Boxing Day for 2 nights - 2 adults, so a double ensuite with breakfast etc. But could we bring our small dog (non-moulting) as it's not clear if pets are allowed. Could you text me on 07889 225776. Thanks. Sam Read
