We highly recommend the B&B Posejdon in Sremska Mitrovica, which is located close to the city center. The rooms are spatious and clean and all of them have a wonderful view on the river of the Sava. The owners and employees were very kind and always pleased to help us with any issue we had. We had a fantastic time there and due to the warm athmosphere, we felt like at home! In addition, we would like to emphasize that the food, wine and service were excellent. We are very much looking forward to visiting B&B Posejdon in Sremska Mitrovica soon again! This was pleasant surprise... Lovely, clean restaurant overlooking the river... The food was very good (try their bread) ... Waiters friendly and approachable... Nice walk to the city centre down the river... Prices very reasonable :) Good luck guys

Very clean, quiet, modern rooms. Good aircon and wifi. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching life go by on the river Sava. It's within walking distance of the pedestrian bridge and the all attractions in the centre of town. Breakfast not included and costs an extra 3 euros per person - was only place we stayed in Serbia where this was the case. We ate in the restaurant - they went out of their way to offer me vegetarian options. Appreciated the lovely fresh bread straight out of oven and red pepper and cheese spreads they gave us to start without extra cost. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice small restaurant with apartaments,very clean, staff is very polite and the food is also on a good level also from the rooms you are looking direct to river Sava,boats and the sunrising is fantastic from the window so i would recommend to all who is interesting!

An absolutely wonderful stay, helpful, friendly, great dinners with the Sava River right outside. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet at night. There are only four rooms, ours had a riverside balcony. An easy walk to the center to visit the gem of an archeological museum and for the Folklore Festival we attended. Perhaps the best hotel in six trips to Eastern Europe, certainly one of the best.

Food comes in a large quantity, no matter what you order. Prices are very reasonable and the view of the river is perfect. The restaurant has a few rooms available for guests. What talks a lot about the quality is the fact that most of the rooms have to be booked at least 2 weeks or more in advance. The facility is located at the left shore of Sava river, 5 to 10 minutes walk from the city centre, and has large parking space for guests and clients. Whether you come for business, or as a family, it is perfect.

We picked out this place simply as a mid-point between two other stops on a long road trip from Kefallonia to the UK. What an amazing little gem. Only four rooms, but all well-appointed and with private balconies literally above the River Sava. Super view of the river. There is a bar an restaurant, with simple, reasonably-priced unpretentious food. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner speaks good English. The wi-fi worked well, which is more than can be said for some more expensive places we stayed in. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Everything on one level, so it would suit disabled people. Add to all this that Sremska Mitrovica is a very nice town, and it is a worthwhile place to stay and enjoy. Well done, Posejdon.

Beautiful view from the rooms, terraces and restaurants on the river Sava. It is only 5 minutes walk from the city center and 10 minutes from the beautiful city beach. The rooms are very clean, the staff friendly and professional. The food is excellent and the portion size more than adequate. Recommendation for anyone who loves a cozy, quiet amibijent with good food and drink.

Due to a journey from hell, ( the first weekend in August). We arrived at this hotel at 11:30pm, it was all locked up, and we could rouse no- one. There was a telephone number on the door which we called, and a gentleman said someone would come and let us in.. After a short wait a very nice lady arrived and apologised that they had waited until 10:30 pm, and had not heard from us ,so packed up at 11pm. She showed us our room, and when we asked for food and drink, she shrugged and said no, sorry. We went to bed quite hungry, but managed two beers for my husband and a little bottle of wine for me, In the morning we could go out onto a very spacious balcony overlooking the river, very pleasant!! Breakfast was Ok, we were hungry, so both had omelettes as this was understood by the gentlman serving us. We would stay here again, definitely!!…
