This is our third stay here and it continues to be a special place. The accommodations are very comfortable. The facility lies in the midst of a lemon grove. Fantastic views of Mt. Etna. On this visit we could clearly see the lava spewing from the rim. I would also recommend the dinner served nightly.

We booked a Junior Suite here but were bitterly dissapointed when we arrived. The room was dirty, the bathroom needs a complete refit and our dog's blanket was cleaner than the sofa in the sitting area of the so called Suite. This is not a Junior Suite and should not be sold as such. We did speak to the Manager...

This is an absolutely beautiful place. The owners obviously put a lot of love into the design and landscaping. My husband and I planned to use this as a base of operations for making day trips to Mt. Etna and Taormina, but it's so serene and relaxing, once we got there, we didn't bother leaving to see other places. It's...

We booked this place for 1 night to see Etna on our way from Modica to Palermo and we wished we could stay longer. The entire property, hotel, restaurant and lemon grove are fantastic. We got the cheapest room on the ground floor and could not complain about anything. Nice bed, perfect shower, good size room, large bathroom. Plenty of...

We had wonderful relaxing days in La Terra del Mezzo. Staying there for nearly two weeks, we enjoyed the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, the beautiful (very clean!) room with its view over the bay to Taormina and also to the Etna. We had a great time relaxing in the beautiful garden of La Terra del Mezzo, we really enjoyed the exceptionnally...

There are few things you have to know about this place: 1) it's located in a countryside 2) you can and you have to ask for a bicycle 3) there is no one in a hotel during daytime 4) great dinner 5) at the second part of september the beaches of Riposto are nearly empty, the water clean and warm

I stayed here two nights in middle October, 2012. This B&B is located a few km south of Giarre on a rural road amidst citrus farms. I was greeted (?) by an older gentleman who was, to be polite, gruff. He didn’t seem to be the type to work the hospitality industry. My room was upstairs and was generally adequate....

Last September we (four of us) spent 16 days touring Sicily and stayed at 8 different establishments, including two 4-star hotels. La Terra del Mezzo far excelled them all and we shall go back there and stay longer if we ever get the chance. The location is a little out of the way, which is part of its charm. The...

I will neither come back nor recommend it!! * The room was very dirty: there was dust everywhere and it smelled bad. We complained and asked the staff to clean it after seeing all the dirt. There was even clothes from previous guests thrown on the floor!! * Spiders: even being tolerant because we were in the countryside, there were...
