Hey Stayed at the hotel with my whole family through eastern 2016. The hotel is old but completly renewed. With shuttle bus to the alpinslops, swimming pool and playground for the kids, everybody enjoyed the stay. The most impressive was however the food. The buffet dinners was overwhelming. We certainly want to come back.

The hotel is pretty old and warn out although they have made some effort/renovations to the common area which is actually very cozy with a big fire place and loads of chairs and couches. The rooms aren't great (old!) and the beds are pretty uncomfortable but we only stayed there for two nights so it wasn't an issue for us.... More

We booked 2 rooms for our family to spend a week skiing at Hovden. We arrived at midday to be told check in was at 3pm, we returned just before 3pm to be told our room would be ready shortly, this message was repeated continually until 5-25pm when we finally got out keys, the first afternoon of our holiday was... Arrived at 12:30 to be told our rooms were not ready. Was told to return at 15:00. It's now 16:30 and still our rooms are not ready. A whole afternoon of skiing lost and exploring lost. Many customers also waiting for rooms. Poor service when you pay so much.

Great food and location for ski holiday. The best buffet ever on New Years Eve. Stayed here with my family, great big family rooms. They have s small swimmingpool which our youngest enjoyed and great ski slope just outside the door.

Food was quite good but the rooms are awful, need a renovation already many years ago, including the bathrooms. Terrible beds and the sofa bed for the kids was the worse they ever slept in (their words). Lots of noise in the evening too, from a party close by. Not the hotel's fault of course but don't come if you... More

We, two adults and one girl(10), spent 3 nights at Hovden Høyfjellshotell for a short skiing holiday. The hotel is centrally located in Hovden, and very close to the solpes (400 m). Overall, our stay was nice, the staff were friendly and accommodating, but I felt I overpaid, paying approx.. 700 GBP for 3 nights. In my opinion this is... More

This hotel is a 15 minute walk from the alpine centre.
