The hospitality and food was fantastic! Our stay was really special because Jørn helped my husband do research about his ancestors, which was a highlight of the trip. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Dinner was a 4-course meal with a variety of local fish, meats and other ingredients. It was always a surprise and always very tasty. The property...

Amazing local food, and professional service minded staff. Great breakfast, having about everything, plus homemade bread and jam. Located in a winter wonderland deep into Valdres, with lots of xc skiing tracks nearby. Will definitely go back!

Nice (small) rooms with newly renovated design bathroom. Excellent local and/or ecological food. Superb breakfast. The funny host Jørn will remember your name, that's how personal the service is. Good suited for seminars, romantic getaways or families. Dinner takes a long time though. I recommend the wine package which accompanies the food lovely. We had a great time!

wonderful hikes in summer and great cross country skiing in winter! This is not a luxury hotel, but a really nice, authentic Norwegian høyfjellstue or mountain lodge with a warm family atmosphere. The food is extraordinary, the breakfast buffet grandiose and if you have the opportunity, try Jørn's "Gourmet Weekend". There are not many places you get better value for...

Spent a wonderful weekend here during the "Rakfisk festival" at Fagernes. The food was local and of superior quality, both taste and presentation. The room was very comfortable and the beds the same. A very welcoming attitude by all staff. The host and hostess (the owners) were always awailable and made sure that our stay was a success.
