Quiet and calm place. Very nice owners. This is the best place to recover and have a good time with familiy and friends. I will strongly recomend this place for everyone. Use the nature and take a bath in beautifull Mjøsa. Small store that have everything you need.

situated on the quiet side of the big lakes north of Oslo, this lakeside campground makes a convenient stopping place if heading from/to the airport from the mountains and fjords further north. tent sites right on the lake and really nice clean cabins with comfy beds.

We camped here with a tent. The tent site are located by the lake, which is great, the facilities are in very good shape and everything is nice and clean. The price is slightly higher than in other campground we stayed at.

Pros: Great location on the lake with plenty of things to do, especially if you have children. It seems like a perfect place for long term camping with your family. Great service both at reception and in the shop. The toilets & showers were clean and spacious. Our little one room cabin was clean and reasonably comfortable. Cons: If you want a view of the lake from a cabin then this is not the place for you. It is reasonably flat so our view was straight at some of the many permanent caravans. I think the camping would be better because you can go right by the lakeside. We chose not to camp because we knew that the wet weather was going to arrive that evening and we did not want everything to get wet before our flight home. All in all this is a good campground but not the best we have experienced in Norway.

We were at the camping site for one night in August 2014 on our way from Alesund to Oslo, and rented one of the cheapest 2 room cabins for 4 persons. The cabin was ok, quite clean and convinient, however, one chair was broken, and there was no water in the cabin, not even a possibility to dispose water existed. I have seen better cabins on other camping sites, but the prices are quite good with 550 NOK, and the camping site is nicely located near a lake. Toilets and showers were ok, could be cleaner but better than I have seen on other camping sites. All in all, very few tents during the time we were there, the camping site is mostly occupied by people who seem to be long term or seasonal campers. The atmosphere thus somewhat differs from many other camping sites.
