We (family of 5) stayed for a week in a large suite on a half board basis. Food was excellent; room spacious, pool area great for children, and overall a great location to access either slaata or geilo centre. Similar to a high quality Austrian style chalet-hotel. We shall return.

We just stayed at Bardola for 2 nights for a quick ski break in a family (4 of us). The room was plenty large and comfortable (it was a bit dated, but clean and perfectly functional). The food for breakfast and dinner was amazing, and they give you bags to pack a lunch for the day if you wish (they...

Cleaning staff, our Estonian waitress and the pool was nice. OK beds. The room lacks ventilation, nights are either cold with an open window, or hot with the window closed. And in the bottom floor, it does not feel safe to sleep with an open window. Bathroom is ventilated, but the heated floor doesnt seem to work; if switched on,...

We lived in one of the cottages by the hotel, and we could not have been more disappointed. The cabin was really small and narrow and not suitable for 10 people at all. A few hours after we arrived the cabin, one of the employees at the hotel just entered our cabin without knocking or anything. There was also a...

Our family of 4 stayed here for a 4 day ski break and found the hotel ticked every box for us. It's a traditional style property with lots of warmth and charm. The family rooms are spacious and bright and although the furniture is a little tired, it was clean and quiet with a big balcony and great views of...

We booked this hotel through crystal ski and chose it due to its low prices, something we wanted due to a skiing holiday being pricy. The hotel overall was good and I would return again if visiting this area again. The room was probably the best feature of the hotel, it was spacious and warm and had a good bathroom...

Bardøla offered great value and exceeded all of our expectations. We were alpine and x-country skiing and swimming in the pool every day. In the evening the kids ran between the playroom and the magic show for kids with new friends. A very friendly hotel for families with with kids aged 12 or less. Great breakfast and the kids loved...

We stayed here for 5 days and had a great time, the breakfast buffet had a great selection and the waiter was helpful. We dined in the restaurant once and in Sofia's cafe a few times. The food was great and the staff were helpful to arrange blended food for us, which was presented very nicely (which often is not...

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is friendly, has spacious rooms, a good lounge, and good food (although vegetarians/vegans may struggle a bit). Breakfast was a substantial buffet and it was okay to make a packed lunch out of it as well. Dinner could be a buffet or set menu with some exceptional dishes. It's getting an average...
