We loved the apartment, it is modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Located in the city center surrounded by restaurants, shops and all kind of public transport. Beds were wonderful, wifi is for free, and kitchen is very well equipped. We highley recommend this place, for business and private appropriate

We were so impressed with hawksley House. We were on a " roots" trip in Sunderland and we stayed at Hawksley House for 3 nights. We took 2 apartments--myself, my daughter, and 2 sons The apartments are fully serviced, very spacious and beautifully equipped. The location on John Street is very central. The building managers are the cream of the...

Stayed in Flat 4, my partner was assured it was not a noisy flat when he enquired. However flat 4 is on street level of a busy road with buses passing every 30 seconds. The double glazing on the windows did not keep the traffic noise out. I'd hate to think what it would be like without double glazing. My...

We were very pleasantly suprised by this one bedroom flat with a sofa bed in the lounge. Lovely modern fittings in a well located Victorian house. We didn't cook (ate in the restaurant downstairs) but the kitchen is sufifciently well equpped that one could. The only negative is that it was hot without the windows open (suprisingly so for a...
