I've lost count now of how often we've stayed here but yet again we came away having had a wonderful stay. From the moment that we arrived to when we left we were treated like old friends rather than customers and nothing was too much trouble. This visit "back home" was to attend a funeral and when asked if I could leave my clothes in the room and return later to change into formal attire there was no hesitation in saying yes . Made it great for me not to wander round all morning in my sombre suit and black tie! As always a most magnificent breakfast which truly set me up for the day. Most definitely worth a visit if staying in the area.

We stayed in the family suite at this b&b for the weekend. The room was huge, with a lounge area consisting of 2 sofas and a coffee table, as well as a second bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a normal bed. The en suite bathroom had lovely soaps and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely and Kate was happy to oblige with our dietary requirements. The b&b is close to all the main attractions in Matlock, but a car is definitely necessary. Would highly recommend!

Wow what an incredible find! I cannot recommend this place enough. I stayed in the annex, room 4 and it was amazing. Plenty of hot water to fill the enormous bath in my room, the bed was king size and incredibly comfy. The breakfast was better than any Premier, Holiday inn etc., ample to eat and all freshly cooked for you. The surroundings were stunning and it was so quiet that you couldn’t help but get a great nights sleep. Highly highly recommended and I will be back. Thank you

Last minute booking. Arrived and asked if we wanted to change rooms as they had a double room available which we did. The room was spotless and had all we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent with choice of fruit juices, cereals, yoghurt and full English which being on a farm was good quality. On checkout Kate had reduced the cost of our room as it was smaller but we declined the offer as it was very good value for money anyway and I would definitely book direct in future. There is a nice little outdoor space for when the weather is good and if you take children there are goats, cows and sheep which will keep them entertained. 10 minute walk to The Horse and Jockey or fish and chip shop.

This is the third time we’ve been to this B&B really enjoyed again. Such a friendly welcome like returning to friends. Breakfasts are delicious and set you up for the day. Bedrooms have all facilities and spotlessly clean. Sure we will return as the area has a lot to offer

What a lovely place - perfect for just the two of us. We stayed in the brand new self-catering apartment. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything we needed and it all was very good quality. The bed was SO comfortable, the shower fantastic, the electric recliner sofa a treat, the patio a nice touch - and all this set in the very beautiful Derbyshire countryside. (Not to mention the excellent fish and chip shop in the village where they cook your food whilst you wait! - only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Kate could not have been more helpful. We heartily recommend Crich Lane Farm.
