Booked this place because I wanted somewhere with kitchen facilities within walking distance of the town centre. There is no way my daughter would have walked into the town from the apartment.

Easy enough to find, there was only one (allocated) parking space which could have been difficult to find. Easy enough to get the key from the drop box once I had spoken to the company.

1st impressions were that the rooms were a good size but the carpets needed a deep clean as they showed the signs of previous occupants. There were a number of minor things that were broken and I guess the management don't inspect the properties regularly, relying on the punters to report problems.

The contents of the kitchen were very basic, most annoying thing for me was that there was no salt and pepper provided. Of course the cutting knives were blunt but just about usable.

Generally it was a quiet location to stay but not the '10 min walk to the centre' as advertised and really needed a deep clean and better inspection for problems/issues.

I booked this apartment as an overnight during a Thorpe park visit. Great communication and instructions from the management company concerning location Keys and parking. Apartment was a reasonable distance from local amenities and was very clean. Would definitely recommend

I stayed at Netherby Gardens, off Rectory Road, Bracknell (not listed on Tripadvisor, but same company). I saw these reviews and went to directly to Berkshire Rooms' website to find a fine choice of properties in towns throughout Berkshire. Access is via coded pedestrian gate or remote-controlled vehicle gate. I had a two bedroom, two bathroom flat (apartment) in a new building. With contemporary furnishings and décor, it is very practical, complete with dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the pots, pan, cutlery, etc. that you need. The gas hob is a bonus. Very helpful staff. Spotlessly clean throughout, I'll be using Berkshire Rooms again - excellent accommodation.

We stayed at Grays Place as part of our Legoland break for 2 nights.
Initially read the reviews and all the reviews sounded good along with the photos. I was quite happy and looking forward to it with our family of 4. Our children aged 11.5 and 10 years old a boy and a girl (both with autism and other disabilities) couldn't wait to see it after looking at photos.
When we arrived around 6pm after being at Legoland, we were slightly disappointed, yes it was big enough and it had 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and kitchen/living room. It seemed to be in a quiet residential area with parking just below our apartment.
The beds were small double beds, of the cheapest quality extremely hard and full of lumps and bumps. Our children were squeezed together into a very small double bed, if there had been a sofa bed then they could've had both beds. I found it impossible to get comfortable and had to sleep on top of the duvet with towels as blankets, both myself and my husband give up trying to sleep in pain during the wee hours and just got up.
The carpet and sofas could do with a good deep clean or new ones bought! They were filthy and we couldn't go about in bare feet we all needed to wear socks. The sofa and chair were disgusting and smelt really bad. Again I covered these in towels before anyone sat on them.
For the money we paid we expected more.
I didn't ring to complain or ask for a move as this would've upset our children even more and we were literally just using it as a base thankfully. Maybe we were the unlucky ones judging by all the other reviews and photos. I hate leaving negative reviews but I felt others should be aware of how the standards are different from one place to the next. Anytime we had dealing with the office the staff were lovely and very helpful.

We recently stayed here for a family break to Legoland. It provides the perfect rest place after a busy day at legoland and the benefits of being able to put your little ones to bed and sit down and relax. I would recommend this to friends and family and in my view much nicer than staying in a hotel at Heathrow x

We stayed at 4 Gray Place in Bracknell this weekend. We have 2 children and wanted some more space than you typical hotel room. This place was extremely convenient and also the service we received from Berkshire Rooms was excellent and five star plus! The accomodation was spotless and extremely comfortable, we will definitely keep it in mind for a quick get away from London.

Have stayed in grays place several times over the last few years. It is good if you want a self contained unit with washer and dryer. Depending on which one you are allocated they are either up one or two flights of stairs so if mobility is an issue you might want to check on that or if Berkshire rooms has an alternative place somewhere else. This time when we stayed the beds were shocking however we contacted the caretaker and he organised for another mattress to be brought to us within a couple of hours. So if you have any problems you can be assured they will be fixed promptly which is a good thing to know. They are clean and parking is easy but make sure you get the right bay or otherwise tenants can get annoyed.

I always read reviews on trip adviser before booking anything and as Berkshire rooms got really good reviews I thought everything would be great. This was a Legoland trip which we do annually for our three kids aged 5, 8 and 10 and we booked the stay through booking.com this year for three nights. We decided on an apartment instead of a hotel as the kids can be fussy eaters and this made things simpler. Location is great if you drive, we have no issue with that as we always stay in Bracknell when visiting Legoland. After a 7 hour car journey we arrived to discover two double beds and no third bed for one of the kids and with it being 7pm having been stuck in heavy traffic this was the last thing we needed. There weren't enough towels either on arrival ( 4 bath sheets and 2 hand roles for 5 of us) . We phoned the number on email and the girl did say she would drop us some linen and extra towel and would look into why no bed as should've ready (never heard response). You're basically given one bath sheet per person and a hand towel per two (so no towel for hair if females) and one bath mat per bathroom for the floor. If you want extra towels you need to read the small print as a fresh linen service is an extra £40-£60 dependant on the size of the room you've taken. I had to go hunting for another bed which I assumed would be a sofa bed. Nope, it was only what could be described as a camp bed in a wardrobe with a thin (maybe 2 inch thick) fabric "mattress". We left to do a food shop and on returning around 9pm the girl had dropped the bag of linen with no pillowslips and the bed also wasn't made up for us, we had to layer extra blankets we brought on top of the metal frame to try and make it comfortable but it wasn't any good for the kids for sleeping on. The two boys had to share the double bed and our 8 year old girl had to lie on camp style bed as too old to share with boys. This apartment shouldn't be sold as suitable for 2 adults and 3 children at all, I would say the second room needs changed to twin beds and a sofa bed in sitting room. The double bed in kids room also collapsed in middle of the night with the bed slats falling out of it on our last night. Both beds very uncomfortable. The apartments are very clean but a little run down (window blinds all bashed and some cracks and dents in walls and furniture) . The free wifi and sky is great. They're spacious and having a washing machine and tumble dryer also great as saved going home with a load of washing. If a smaller family I would recommend it and if Berkshire rooms look into updating their beds it would make the stay amazing as that's all it's lacking. If going as 2 adults and 3 kids take an air bed and you will be sorted. Not trying to be completely negative as it did have its positives and saved us a lot of money on wasted food. Very honest review.

As anybody else using this site, searching for the right place to sleep can take sometimes longer than we want. We do read the reviews and are thinking if it's the right place to stay. If you want an apartment that is clean, quiet, convenient located, properly decorated then go for this one.

We stayed at Gray Place for 2 nights during a visit to Legoland. We payed £400 for a family of 4 & that included a 2 day pass to Legoland as well. The apartment was on the ground flour with garden access it had 2 bathrooms with extra separate toilet both en-suite to both double bedrooms. Large lounge & open plan kitchen with everything you could possible need all towels/bedding/toiletries & kitchen cleaners provided, very clean you dont need to take anything except your clothes. Fantastic 100% service would defiantly book with them again so much better than staying at a hotel with one room with breakfast which would have cost us much more than we payed for Gary Place & only 15mins drive from Legoland perfect. If you want a comfortable home from home stay check out Gray Place.
