Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First time here, with my son as we were visiting Legoland nearby. From start to finish each staff member was warm, welcoming and helpful. Room lovely. All the facilities throughout the hotel were in good order, clean and attractive. We had dinner and breakfast, which were both fantastic, they catering for some specific dietary needs when necessary. Overall, the stay made us very happy and the management and staff should be proud of what they have created.

Brilliant located hotel, best vegetarian breakfast I have ever had! Interconnecting rooms were great with the kids. Lots of room and 2 bathroom which is a must with a teenager. Ate in the hotel twice and food was perfect each time. Perfect stay for families. Would definitely stay here again. Legoland and Windsor castle 10 mins away.

We had a table in one of the "pods" in the hotel garden. It was very roomy for 4 adults and, despite the cold, wet weather surprisingly warm and dry! There were two heaters and each of us were given a blanket just in case. Our waiter was Matt who was very cheerful and helpful and didn't seem to mind the inclement weather. He was attentive and helpful, even asking the chef if one of our party could have a specific dish not on the menu, which was allowed. The food was brought to us hot and was very good. This is the second time we've eaten in one of the pods and would definitely return.

We never fail to have a brilliant meal at the Stirrups. The staff made the Mothers Day lunch really lovely - pre ordered our meal and had place settings with our food choices on the back. Staff super attentive and efficient. Food was delish, ambiance cosy. Brilliant time had.

I used Stirrups Hostel for a gathering of friends and family to celebrate the life of a recently deceased relative. The events team were excellent in understanding what I wanted and making suggestions. On the day the venue was perfect, warm and friendly. The organisation made everyone feel welcome and enjoy the special lunch. Food and drink choices were good and, when served, delicious. Staff were friendly and yet professional so I could not recommend Stirrups more. Finally the hotel is easy to find between Windsor and Ascot with a large area for parking.

We had a fabulous night celebrating our wedding anniversary . We stayed in an executive double room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely deep bath and a walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the view from the room of trees and countryside. All the staff were friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about us enjoying our stay. We had a meal in a pod in the garden where we were able to stream music to our own speaker. Matt was our waiter who gave us the best service and experience that I think we have ever had. The heater and knee blankets kept us toasty warm even though it was raining. If we needed Matt for anything there was a button to press that was linked to his watch. I have a gluten allergy and nothing that was smoothly accommodated. The lamb was very tasty and beautifully presented as was the salmon. The chef even made us a little plate with a little pudding that was decorated with Happy Anniversary. That really made our night special, thank you! Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented with lots of choices. We happened to have a table in front of a fire at breakfast which was lovely. Everything was fresh and high quality. We dinner bed and breakfast deal was a good price for the high quality of food, service and sleep that we enjoyed. If you are thinking of booking a visit , yiu will not regret it. We will definitely return. Thank you.
