Yesterday I visited the Holiday Inn in Corby for a spa and afternoon tea. We had a really great time. We started off with a session in the gym which is quite small but well equipped with well maintained equipment. Next we went for a swim in the small pool. There is a really

Dear MarianneMou, Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to let us know how much you enjoyed your Spa Day and Afternoon Tea! The best thing about such lovely reviews are when someone recommends you to others, it means the team have hit their high service levels and have made a real impact on the guest. I am so very glad to see that happened here and I will make sure that all of the team (especially Courtney) get a shout out for getting such great comments. I will also follow up the tiles slipperiness with our team top ensure we are doing all we can to stop that. I do hope you choose to come back to us again in the future. Kind regards, Martyn

This holiday inn is the worse one iv ever stayed in. On arrival I was issued a room number 151. This room was filthy and even had faeces in the loo. The TV did not work and wall were marked. I complained and was given Dingley suit. The pictures below are this room. It

Dear Judith S, Once again my apologies for the issues you experienced, as you know my duty manager and I discussed your stay with you the following day as you were attending a large conference at the hotel. Clearly we fell short and I hope I was able to reassure you that we have already followed up and dealt with the areas that were certainly not as they should have been. I was glad that you enjoyed the conference and our facilities there and I would hope you can see that your overnight experience is certainly not the norm. It was also good to be able to clarify a couple points over the work we have undertaken at the hotel, our pricing structure and our website to ensure this was clear and that hopefully you will be returning when we next host the conference. I trust you had a safe journey back and look forward to welcoming you back when your travels bring back to the area. Kind regards, Martyn

Arrived on a particularly quiet Sunday night. Very pleasant and helpful staff all around. Easy check-in. Bar staff efficient and the lasagnes I had for my meal was very good. Hot and tasty! Placed where it is you are stuck with the usual hotel choice of beer - there’s very

Dear HamishP748, Thank you for your comments, glad to see that even when quiet we still delivered what we should do and your enjoyed your stay, our freshly made Lasagne and our facilities. I do hope you enjoyed our selection of beers, we changed them entirely in 2018 so they are relatively new! As and when we have a lower house count we do revert to plated breakfast, I am very glad to read you enjoyed that! We hope to welcome you back again soon. Kind regards, Martyn

Dear Andrew W, My thanks for taking the time to leave your comments, of course they do not make pleasant reading and I apologize if you feel we are falling short. As a guest who has stayed with us over a long period of time then you will have seen that over the past 3 years the hotel has been significantly invested and upgraded (so i am not quite sure how it can be past its sell by date?) Our service and cleanliness are normally excellent and I very much hope you choose to come back to us and see this 1st hand. I would certainly value speaking with you further over your concerns. Yours sincerely, Martyn

I believe they are but best call and ask directly as I think there is a limited amount of rooms for people with dogs

Yes the pool is free to use for all residents & includes towels. On some occasions the pool does host swimming classes so its best to check by calling them directly on 01536 264568 if you have an idea of time you are looking to arrive to avoid any disappointment. Martyn

Hi Mandy, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. We had some challenges recently due to our support staff provided by agency not turning up and not providing any cover - however this has been rectified and all the treatments and breaks since then have given great feedback! Thanks for reaching out, we look forward to seeing you. Kind regards, Holiday Inn Corby Team
