We had heard about the Sunday lunches at the raven being one of the best in town, so when we were having a family get together we decided to give it a try. We booked a table in advance. They came in 3 different sizes (small, medium and a large plate) also someone on our table ordered off the main...

Had a great weekend of New year entertainment, staff were friendly & helpful. Good value meal in the Raven Hall, well done to the catering staff for getting the meals out quickly and hot. Thanks to Glen the manager for squeezing us in for the party evening.

I didn't know when I booked this venue that I would be staying in a dated crumbling venue with facilities and service from the 70's. it reminded me the film "the shinning". Was absolutely filthy and couldn't swing a cat in the room. Shared facilities on landing were also very "icky". Breakfast was terrible too. With pub below and having...

Me and my partner stayed in the pod, very small and a horrible place to sleep, my garden shed at home is much bigger, no wardrobe for your clothes, the toilet door does not close, very dirty inside, outside very dirty and broken glass everywhere, I do not recommend this Hotel not very nice, staff not very friendly, I will...

Lack of organisation and notification to party members of proceedings. Informed meal served at 7pm, still outside hanging around function hall waiting to be let in. Clean and decorated nicely but quite frankly the effort and quality of the food was abysmal. Presentation and flavour totally lacking, totally pre packed under quality food obviously not prepared by a chef/cook. Two...

We came to the raven on a works Xmas night out last week. At lunch time on the day of the meal I rang and cancelled a few meals due to illness. The staff member didn't seem to know much about our booking. On arrival in the evening again staff didn't have a clue! We had booked to eat at...

Arrived with family to celebrate a birthday, having booked in advance. Booking was in the diary for our allocated time, but the staff came up with a story that the booking was moved to 7pm (1 hour earlier) and they informed us by telephone (they did not). The staff were unhelpful, bordering on rude. AND there is no Sherry in...

Cancelled our family birthday booking without telling us. The staff were unapologetic and rude as well. Service with a frown :-( No wonder it's often empty! Thanks to Corby Beefeater to the rescue at short notice.

Stopped off here for a meal in the restaurant after a shopping trip in Corby. It was a lovely place and a male staff member came over to our table and welcomed us. We Ordered our food and it was delicious. We went back to the bar to get another drink and was left standing there while a member of...

First visit to The Raven for Sunday lunch. Was not disappointed. 3 choices of meat, generous portion, and large Yorkshire pud. then good selection of vegetables you help yourself to, so as much or little as you want. Several condiments as well. 2 of our group had desserts which again were good portion sized and tasty. Reasonably priced and good...
