We stayed here just for a night as a stopover between travelling. Nice and cheap, clean and comfy room. Excellent shower pressure which you don’t always get with the cheaper hotels. Excellent staff on the front desk Elizabeth was really helpful finding out if the football was on for us at the pub, really welcoming and friendly. Then Richard was very friendly and helpful even bringing up cutlery for us for the breakfast before we even realised. Honestly couldn’t of asked for a better overnight stay especially when it was so cheap, in previous experiences this is not what you normally get when it is cheap.
Would highly recommend!

What a great place to stay!!! From the moment we entered the hotel until we left we felt welcome. The receptionist was great, very happy, smiling, friendly and helpful. The room was huge, could have got another double bed in there!!! Bedding was very white, bed very comfortable, clean white soft towels, good size bathroom. Plenty of room to move about. Kettle, tea/coffee etc. Couldn't fault it in any way. Will certainly return when next visiting family. Thank you very much for an excellent stay.

We stayed for a weekend, the hotel was clean, staff were very polite and helpful! Especially a young lady I think her name was Mary, she was very polite and helpful. We’d definitely stay again. The rooms were spacious and warm and the bed was comfortable

Stayed in Bromsgrove Ibis for one night ahead of an early morning meeting the next day.

The room was very spacious and clean. The decor wasn’t modern, but what do you expect for £30 a night?

Located next to railway station, but I didn’t hear any noise at night. Slept very well.

Will definitely stay again when in the area.

I waited for over seven minutes to check in as the ladies on the reception desk were having a mother’s meeting. They didn’t even acknowledge me which made me very uncomfortable. I had to interrupt them so I could pay and get the key to my room. A Very poor service. The rooms are dated and new furniture is needed. The carpets need a good clean. It was very cheap but I suppose you get what you pay for.

£32/night, clean large room in need of a little paint. Located near to railway station and several good quality eateries nearby. 20 minute walk to town. Only one downside, the railway. This didn't bother me but might bother light sleepers.

We stayed here for one night as a break on our long journey home. Okay it was reasonably cheap, but the interior did not match our expectations especially considering the outside makes the place look like new hotel. The hotel was surprisingly difficult to find in the dark and the car park is shared with at least one local pub so it was a little busy. Not helped by the terrible parking of many people!
The reception area was clean enough and the lady on reception was lovely and friendly but then it was downhill from there.
Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are clean and well equipped, but they definitely need updating. The kids beds were very uncomfortable according to my 7 year old. The pressure on the shower was poor and the bathroom lighting was very dim with a dodgy switch on the light above the mirror. One of the lamps in the bedroom didn’t work either. You get what you pay for I guess, but we have stayed in much nicer Travelodges and paid the same price or less. Don’t think we will stay here again.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. Don't order the breakfast unless you have to leave early. The "Banner" cafe, just a few metres from the hotel entrance offers excellent evening meals and serves breakfast from 8.30am. The hotel breakfast box is very disappointing.

I stayed here the night before having surgery at Dolan Park hospital. I had travelled up from Colchester by train, via London and several tube connections so after 5 hours of traveling it was amazing to walk over the bridge at the station and see the hotel right there in front of the car park. Check in was straight forward and I found my room easily. I was in room 43 on the top floor. It didn't m have a view as the window was a skylight but it did have a bath in the bathroom which was a nice surprise.

Not many channels on the tv but I suppose that wouldn't bother most travellers, just if you're there alone like I was. I was happy with how clean and comfortable the room was. It was nice and quiet there apart from the trains passing every 20 minutes. The noise didn't bother me, in fact it was quite nice but it was pretty regular so it's something to be aware of if you think it would bother you.

Check out was also nice and simple. I had ordered a taxi when I checked in with the direct dial phone on reception and it turned up exactly on time. Just remember to get a token from reception to let the taxi out of the barriers. I was given one without having to ask.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I'd be happy to return here if I stayed in Bromsgrove again.

Hi, Sorry for delay in response. I'm not sure about e-mail address, but visit the Tavelodge website to book. Be careful though as there are 2 Travelodges in Bromsgrove. Do not book Bromsgrove Marlbrook. I have never stopped there but the Marlbrook pub next door is where Tracey Andrews had the argument with her boyfriend before murdering him, It gives me the creeps just thinking about it.

It's not within walking distance. Artrix is in the town centre. If you want to walk in there is a large hill to walk down and then back up again.
