Quite simply... The rooms are lovely and clean, the staff is pleasant and proficient and the breakfast is not to be missed, not to mention the wine & nibbles. We will definitely stay at the Blue Dory on our next BI getaway!

Block island is an amazing place to visit. The Blue Dory Inn is right near town and a great place to stay. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are great. I stayed in Chantilly, which was a nice room with a great view

Queen Anne's Lace. It was smallish and one side of the room had a slant to the ceiling as it was on the third floor. It had a queen size bed, small desk/table with chair, a small armoire, small dresser with a decent size bathroom. It worked for us because it was so last minute and we did not spend much time in the room anyway. It is quaint and pet friendly and people friendly too. Not at all a dump, but not high end luxurious, if that is what you are accustomed to. It is the kind of place people come back to. I hope that helps.
