I attended a conference in Genk and brought the family with me. Genk is a small, quiet town. The people are very friendly and helpful. The Hotel t'Hert is right in the middle of town. The shopping center and the supermarket is just a walk away. It is also just a 5-minute cwalk to the bus and rail station. But... More

This hotel restaurant is dated and the rooms could benefit from a little brightening up. However food was good and the family are very welcoming. There is no parking at this central hotel, but it is available a short distance away. The area is safe so no worries about your car.

The welcome to this family run small hotel was very warm & friendly. The food was excellent , properly cooked chips & amazing steak. Would return without a doubt. It's what I would expect from a' town sized' small family run hotel & bar.

I was supposed to get a double room which turned out to be a twin but charged at a double. the hotel is a bit dated but very welcoming. Following checkout I was bombarded with racist jokes from the male owner and could not wait to leave his premises.

Although somewhat dated, the couple running this place are warm, friendly and welcoming. The food is fabulous - less expensive and way tastier than anywhere else we tried. They have an arrangement with a nearby parking facility that you can pay 2 euros for 24 hrs. Breakfast is a huge buffet with tons of choices from cereal, fresh fruit salad,... More

The chambers are simple, sometimes a little bit to simple, but for a few nights to close your eyes that shoul not be the issue. The hospitality is great Noke and Laurant are very kind people. The rooms are always very clean and the food in the restaurant is great. Prices

Very friendly owner. Provided bikes for use. Good spread at breakfast . Room was small but clean, it was a bit odd that the shower cubicle had a set of blinds to cover the wall facing the room. For a budget hotel it is quite good.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. We booked it via the internet. We chose it for its location - right by the main piazza of Genk. We travelled to Genk for the football. The hotel is a dated building with bar and restaurant area downstairs, then 3 floors of probably just 3 rooms a floor. The rooms are... More

We booked our stay in december last year, a long time ago (and probably the first who had booked for june). The room, which was assigned to us by arrival, was not worth being mentioned a room (and surely not "orchid room", like it was called). It wasn't even in the holel, but above a Manpower (an interim-bureau) Entering the... More
