We enjoyed our meal although the restaurant lacked ambience. The dish of the day was already finished at 8pm so ordered the chicken which was average. However there was a choice of yummy desserts. Would I go again? Probably.

We won’t be back. A day trip to Chantilly and one night the Hotel L’Avenue. My wife and I thought we could turn a day in Chantilly into an overnight trip. Hotel L’Avenue seemed to be a good solution. We were so wrong! Who could have anticipated a hotel with such incompetent management! We took the TER out of Paris,...

This hotel, with it's secure parking (if pre-booked), is pretty much in the centre of this iconic French tourist attraction town. The accommodation is above a restaurant, (where breakfast is served) and our room was clean and comfortable enough, albeit a little basic. Whilst we were made welcome by the receptionist/barmaid/waitress, it all became rather impersonal. The chambermaid/waitress at breakfast...

This hotel was a disappointment. The rooms and bathrooms are rudimentary. As others have noted, there is a lot of street noise. We weren't expecting luxury at this price but cleanliness and a modicum of charm might have helped.

I stayed here one night. All the rooms open off the one stairwell. I was woken several times by the sounds of people entering the other rooms and banging doors. In the morning after breakfast I had difficulty getting out of the premises. The housemaid told me I would need a code to open a door to get out but...

We stayed here for a few nights in order to take advantage of the train service to Paris and stay in a calmer environment. Chantilly was great, with some good restaurants and we would have liked to have spent longer exploring the immediate area. The train service was very good with exciting double decker trains and cost us 50 euros...

A great budget hotel, nothing fancy but very worth staying a few days if located in Chantilly. The bedrooms are well porportioned, comfortable beds and clean and comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the lively atmosphere that the restaurant had. Great team of staff who jollied us through the menu each night and picked wines within our price guide...

Just stayed one night. Comfortable room, nicely decorated, overlooking the main street but not too noisy. Free parking round the back. We were made to feel welcome. We ate at the restaurant and sat outside. Food and service was very good. We'd certainly stay there again. Tip: don't plan to do any sightseeing in Chantilly on a Tuesday as everything...
