It was about 6 o'clock when we checked in to the HOSTEL, immediately I knew I would regret going on this school trip. As soon as we went into our room (17) I had to get my face wipes out of my bags to clean the dirt and dust off most of the furniture. I was not happy to discover...

I visited this hostel and was absolutely appalled by the lack of cleanliness in the room and overall hotel, the food was shocking and never ate in the hotel. It was okay to sleep in for a few nights with friends. I was also disappointed that I had to share a shower which was filthy and full of grime. The...

I have just arrived back in the Uk after spending 3 nights at Riva Bella. The was 43 students and 6 members of staff. We were looked after very well and the food was excellent. On arrival I was a little disappointed that the rooms were slightly very basic and dated but after our 1st night it really didn't matter...

Me and two friends stayed in room 1 which we were very happy with. It has two bunk beds and two single beds which are pushed together to make a double bed. We had the largest balcony which continued round the corner of the building and also had a lovely sea view. Staff are very friendly and respectful. One of...

My son age 12 stayed here for 2 nights on a school trip and came back appalled by the quality of the hostel. His bed sheets were damp so he had to sleep on the floor and the room stank of smoke. The food they served was revolting. Under one of the beds was half a chewed dog bone and...

An excellent place to stay for a few days or longer in Le Touquet. I booked a room at the last minute and was told I could have a room with toilets on the floor. When I arrived, a room with ensuite was available and given to me at the same discounted rate. The place is safe (door code at...

My son who is 13 stayed here on a school trip in July 2012 even though it says he stayed there in August. Upon arrival, he walked up 2 flights of stairs with his suitcase. He then walked into his room to find that there was no bathroom and that he had to share with the people next door who...

Stayed at this hotel/hostel in May 2013 assisting with an educational visit for 40 year six pupils, my second stay in three years. The positives are that the hotel/hostel is perfectly located over the road from the beach and a few streets away from the local market area and town centre. The proprietor and family are very welcoming allowing us...

My son went on a school trip for 8/9yr olds for a few nights earlier in May. It was his first experience of a residential trip. The hotel's main positives are that it is well located for the beach and market. The main things that he still talks about are - tobacco smell permeating the room, no soap or toilet...

We arrived at the 'hotel' Riva Bella and was baffled by how poor the staff's English was. Eventually after talking to the staff in French to the best of our ability we managed to get the key for our room. Walking up the three flights of winding stairs with two suitcases was not the best of ways to start the...
