The hotel is clean and our room is more than large enough for two people to share. Weather better than we'd expected for this time of year, 22°c yesterday and the same forecast for today. There is a beach located very close by and the friendly, helpful receptionist said we were able to use beach facilities free of charge as... More

Decided on this hotel due to it's location. The beach is just a 2 minutes walk through the garden where there are beds and shades to hire..20 euros for 2 beds and a shade. We never used the pool [it closed half way through our stay anyway]. As stated by several other people, the all Italian staff, led by Gina, are... More

Nice hotel, clean and light. Hotel room was big enough for 2 people, bathroom small but enough space. No carpet which is a big plus! if you have loud neighbours you might hear them when drying the hair or shower in the morning. Beds are comfy and good. only minus is the curtains are not too thick / no shades-... More

To our dismay we found hotel Castello to be very average teetering on the side of very poor. While it was very clean it was extremely outdated and very lack luster. Please DO NOT be tricked into booking this hotel for the beach because this is one of the very few Sardinian beaches that we did not enjoy. The beach... More

Super friendly staff, greeted by my name upon arrival (lady spoke Italian, English and French very fluently). Minimal choice for Breakfast, coffee machine kept breaking. Rooms very clean and spacious. Bed firm and very comfortable. Shower only (no bath); larger physique person may struggle to use the shower. Air con in room but ours was naturally cool at the front... We visited in August during the high season and paid around €500 per night for two rooms - a double and a triple - both without a sea view. The hotel was basic and dated and not what I expected considering the price. The rooms were clean but were not anything special and the bathroom was very small and plasticy.... More

This is a 3 star hotel, definitely worth paying extra for a sea view. The staff are really friendly and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast is continental with plenty of fresh croissants! The pool is huge but the don't have sunbeds and you have to wear a swimming hat.... Bright pink! The pillows are okay but the beds are... More

Firstly, I would like to say how wonderful the hotel is, it's location is nice and quiet and it's easy to get to places through public transport if you don't mind a bit of walking. There were however a few minor things I wish I'd known before booking: - they advertise a private section of the beach, which yes, exists.... More

Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful with useful advice on local attractions and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean throughout and rooms were cleaned every day. The bed was a bit basic but fine for a holiday. I'd recommend a sea view as you are literally on the beach. Breakfast was very good , with fresh melon, yoghurts... More

Amazingly friendly staff, great location, clean and wonderful views. Gina was so helpful! We are having a wedding in Golfo Araci next year and we will have a lot of our guests stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel!
