My family and I stayed here whilst attending a local wedding. The rooms are basic, but they contain all that you need. The shower was really good and powerful. We had breakfast included which included pastries, ham, cheese etc - which was nice.
The views from the hotel were lovely and the veranda area where you could have drinks was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a hire car and there was plenty of room for parking. A great hotel for a short break!

good, clear sign posts in the town to direct you to the hotel, follow the signs for the Zoo Safari.
A well managed , clean hotel (on a par with UK style Travel Inn), with english speaking, attentive staff.
Positive, an out door swimming pool on site, and the Zoo and a smallish theme park, very close, within walking distance, even with a push chair.
Positive , on the up slope of the hills, so a good panoramic view of the town and the sea.
Negative, no cooking facility on site, but a good continental breakfast. A means of transport a must, but the town is only 2 minutes drive, with several places to eat.

We stayed in Park Hotel Sant'Elia for four nights. It was very clean and comfortable, except for the pillows, which were quite flat & hard.
I found the staff very helpful and courteous. Everyone I dealt with spoke English, including the staff at breakfast and the pool attendant. We had a twin room, which was a good size & had a mini-fridge. We were attending an event in Fasano for the four days so we didn't have much time to spend in the hotel but we did go to the pools once and they were great - clean and well-maintained with a fabulous view of the Adriatic from both pools.
The hotel is extremely handy for the Zoo Safari, although we didn't have time to go there. It's not very convenient for Fasano town, being up in the hills behind the town. It is about 20 minutes' walk to the outskirts of Fasano & an hour to get to the far side of town. The first 15 minutes of the walk are along a pretty busy country road without footpaths or street lighting.
I am coeliac. I only ate at the hotel for breakfast & the gluten-free selection was very limited. Breakfast was almost entirely muffins, cakes and cereal. They had a few boiled eggs and a platter of cold ham & sliced cheese. They did have little packets of gluten-free biscuits and crackers available but I had to ask for them as they weren't out.

HIGHLY UNDERRATED hotel! Easy to find (just off the exit/by zoo safari) with stunning views of the coastline. Accommodations are far better than the rating suggests. But what really makes this hotel special is the service! The staff are extraordinarily kind, helpful and try to meet every customer request. The days before our daughter’s wedding were very stressful, requiring many sudden, unexpected changes to our plans and those of our guests. The staff was there for us, day and night. We could not have found a better place!

We were staying in this hotel for 3 nights and the room was fine. The breakfast and the staff who were burdened with the breakfast was the disappointing part of this stay. The breakfast was really poor ( old sad food) bit the staff were oblivious to the customer and looked like they would rather be anywhere else. The room was fine - clean and pleasant- but the breakfast was a trial for us and the staff. This left a sour taste and to my mind could be resolved easily.

I didn't read the reviews for this hotel until after I had booked it. By then, it was already too late to cancel my reservation. Maybe it's just me from my previous experiences, hotel cancellations policies made sense and were in the best interest of the customers and not so much about filling rooms and getting them for a good price.

On 02-Aug-13, I booked a 'quadruple' room to accommodate my wife, two girls three and under and me at the rate of 139.00 Euro a night not to include any taxes or fees. On 06-Aug-13, the night before my stay, I checked the rates again just to see if the hotel had filled up and the rate for the 'quadruple' room had miraculously dropped to 89.00 Euro a night. How in the heck did I get gouged on a 50 Euro extra rate for booking early?!

In accordance with my booking confirmation, the cancellation policy reads as follows:
"...cancellation of the reservation will be charged the following penalties: 10% of the entire stay up to 30 days prior to arrival, 20% of the enter stay 29 to 10 days prior to arrival, 50% of the entire stay from 9 to 2 days prior to arrival, 100% of the stay after these terms."
Because of this policy, I had no choice but to grin and bear it and move forward with the stay.

On 07-Aug-2013 after having completed the safari portion of the ZooSafari, we checked in early (approx 1300). My initial impression of the lobby was wow...how could this place be so dated and horrible to have such a high volume of customers? The desk clerk was not the bit courteous...no smile, no greeting.

Upon checking into our room, we came to find that our 'quadruple' room reservation was simply a queen sized room with and added full sized bed against the window. Looking at the carpet, it was obvious it was only vacuumed where the vacuum could be pushed...layer of noticeable gray dust underneath the night stand and a fine track along the base of the wall to show the vacuum didn't get the edges. The air conditioning is only good if you're standing right underneath it. I turned it up on high and down to 10 Celsius hoping it'd cool down the room. There was no information pamphlet for the hotel or the surrounding area, no room service menu which reaffirmed by suspicions that there was no room service, no channel guid for the TV...all things you'd expect in any hotel you'd stay at.

We decided to to go back to the zoo to let the room cool down but didn't turn out that way. We came back a couple of hours later to find that there was no change in temperature and that the room had actually gotten more humid than from when we left it. Immediately, I looked at my wife and asked, "do you want to leave?" Without hesitation, we checked out. My total stay wasn't more than 4 hours.

The hotel is reasonably priced but if you set foot inside the restaurant for supper, all value will disappear. We made the mistake of not asking tje vosy of dinmer in advance and the waiter played us. A so-so diner with 1 glass of wine and no dessert cost about 1.3 times the cost of the room.
If you stay there eat supper somewhere, anywhere, else.

Hotel comfortable and reception staff helpful. Able to check in earlier which was appreciated and they helped arrange taxis when needed
Pool is pleasant enough and nice views but we stayed in peak season so very busy and constant loud misidentified playing
Breakfast per other reviews not the best. Very limited fruit available and lot s of cakes/pastry which is not my thing. Coffee machine was good.
We did have an evening meal one night of our stay and this was quite fine, reasonable prices and choices and they offered us a dessert free from the buffet
You really need transport if you stay here. It's a 2 km walk to Fasano and a windy road which is not coming back a time night in the dark. Luckily I did have a torch. Also no proper buses which we had hopes to use to get to other places. We ended up having to get taxis to the other places we wanted to visit from here
Rooms a bit small but ok

It's pointless showing the pool area as in Sept it's closed off.

Stayed one week but wanted to leave straightaway, no individual safes, pool is NOT IN USE FROM SEPTEMBER, plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast is stupid that they offer, if it rains then it's TOUGH LUCK you have to go out of the hotel down some steps to get to the breakfast area, there are no umbrellas, the actual area is a odd room, SAD. No safe in room, no balconies. You can walk down to Fasano but it is completely dark at night so not worth it. Where the hotel is located is ideal for travelling around the Puglia, but that's it.
