Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Simply exquisite and unusual. Quirky and interesting hotel in a beautiful and (to us) unknown area. And then the food, courtesy of chef Ben Hirst. Absolutely incredible. Overall and unbeatable choice. Don’t forget to explore the valley and the mountains behind.

One can't wish for a better place to stay and better hosts. Everything about our stay at Villa Inglese was perfect. The house is beautiful. Very quirky and it was amazing seeing it alive and so well taken care of. Our puppy was welcomed and felt at home immediately. Our room was clean, neutral and very relaxing. The views from every corner of the house are superb. Even on a bad weather day you can enjoy being at the villa. We'll be back for sure. Thank you Gaynor and Ben!

I’m finding it hard to put into words how special this place is. We arrived and I was blown away by the beautiful interiors of this quirky boutique b&b. Everywhere you look, there’s something to admire. We were greeted by Gaynor & Ben who were so warm & friendly, and kindly explained about the house & local area. The b&b itself is just gorgeous. Our bedroom had 2 windows with balconies looking out at the most breathtaking views. It’s so peaceful & tranquil. We had our breakfast outside in the garden, surrounded by the mountains & the breakfast itself was excellent. Also a special mention to Elsie who is so cute. We only stayed one night but would loved to have stayed a little longer. I’d highly recommend visiting & staying in Villa Inglese, it’s a hidden gem. Thank you so much Gaynor & Ben, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you.

This gorgeous 1926 villa now lovingly restored with all modern day comforts is a must stay location in this lovely hill top village. With a breath taking view over the valley as we opened your blinds in the morning and a delicious breakfast served on the terrace, our day was off to a great start. We stayed for two nights as the finale to a week long tour before our drive back to Rome. Our hosts Gaynor and Ben could not have been more welcoming and offered advice on the stunning local area. We were lucky enough to dine at Ville Inglese in the evening and I really don’t think there is enough space here to describe the meal that will prove truly unforgettable. We left the course choices to our hosts and the meal that then ensued was out of this world. Using only seasonal and local ingredients and taking them to another level in terms of tastes and textures, we felt completely spoilt by the care and attention that Ben put into each carefully crafted dish. Cannot wait to revisit. Anyone in the area or even not so close by …really has to experience this special place and the amazing food.

My mom and I have spent two days in this wonderful Villa. Our room is spacious with so much light! It’s beautifully restored and there are fresh flowers all around. Every little thing you could wish for, has been thought of. We made a last minute booking with an hour’s notice and we arrived to find a lovely room all ready! Breakfast is delish and be sure to book lunch or dinner because it’s spectacular!

We had the time of our lives at Villa Inglese! Gaynor is a wonderful hostess and is very kind, she made us feel truly at home. Ben is a very fun person and has a true passion for cooking, he surprised us every evening with incredibly delicious dinners. The choice of wines and digestives is amazing as well. The room was spacious, had a breathtaking view and an incredibly comfortable bed. It was probably one of the best holidays in my life! ❤️
