This hotel is not at all in a scenic location as it is on a trading estate at the edge of the city. BUT the staff are efficient, friendly and speak good English. Meals are available on site (grills much better value than tapas). It is an excellent base for visiting countryside around if you have a car, as the parking is free and safe. Cadiz is within easy reach by train (hotel staff will happily get you a taxi to the station). You can walk to historic centre of Jerez in about 20-30 mins. A good, basic, no frills place to stay.

We have traveled all over Europe and in particular Spain and we have wanted to visit Jerez for years. Being a sherry fan and knowing the food would be good, it has been high on our list.

We chose the Ibis because they are great value, clean, dry and warm and very reliable but by far, this is the best we have stayed in.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food was good but, by far its best feature is the welcome you get from Rafael and his fantastic staff. The reception staff were hugely helpful and very knowledgeable and we really appreciated this after a long journey.

Great staff providing great customer services flow from the lead taken by the manager and Rafael could not have been more gracious. He engaged with us in conversation and gave us some great advice about the city. He was also interested in us and this made us feel welcome and valued.

The weather during our stay was very wet and so, to do justice to the city we will come back later in the year. We will definitely be staying at the Ibis again.

This was our first and last stay at an Ibis Hotel. We were so disappointed in the bathroom that we would not repeat this experience. There is no place to plug in electrical appliances such as a night light or a water pick (teeth flossing machine). The sink did not drain well (even after asking the front desk about it) and the lights weren’t working properly. The door handle was almost falling off. Would the cleaning crew not notice this and ask to have these things fixed before a guest suffers with them? The towels were thread bare. The shower was good. The room was small but adequate. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was not suitable for vegans, so not for us.

This was our second stay in this hotel and we only chose it because of the swimming pool. The rooms are so dated and the bathroom is so smelly I was glad we only had 1 night here. The whole hotel needs modernising. The chap at reception didn't even say hello when we arrived and I was the one greeting him first but I still didn't get a hello back. The first thing that came out of this mouth was to tell us that the check in is from 12noon ( we were there after 11am). When he realised we were gold members he changed his tune slightly and did offer us the room on the spot. When I asked for towels for the swimming pool he said it opens at 12 noon. When I came down before 12 there was already someone using the swimming pool. It took ages to get his attention and receive the towels just to find out they were exactly the same towels you find in your bathroom. They were old and had holes in. The swimming pool is a decent size but the ladder to go down to the pool was wobbly and coming out of the ground. The sign indicated that only 14 people should be in the pool but come 5pm there was about 30 people in there and we quickly escaped as thought it was not save with the covid restrictions. The toilet and changing facilities by the pool were in a horrendous state ( i doubt they were cleaned or maintained recently) and there was yellow water coming out of the sink. Needles to say we won't be staying again.

We visited Ibis Jerez after 4 lovely nights at Ibis Malaga, where we had a lovely time. The Ibis in Jerez is a mess in comparison! Dark, old fashioned reception / breakfast area, employees barely speak any english, the room was old, damp smelling with tiny wholes in the plastic curtains. During the 2 overnights we had to contact reception 2 times due to toilet and zink issues. Breakfast (which in Malaga Ibis was lovely) was very poor and wierd as every item was individual foiled-wrapped (we are talking 1 slice of cheese foiled-wrapped, 1 mini crossaint etc) onlybthe orange juice was good. You get the feeling that the employees are looking for a reasons to tell customers they are doing something wrong. The pool cannot be used before 12 o'clock!!! To sum up, we couldnt wait to get outta there and will most definitely never be back

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Very clean, great breakfast and dining/bar area. Big bonus was the outside pool - though we did not use it in late December. This hotel far exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is a perfect oasis in a commercial zone on the outskirts of Jerez. It has everything you need, including a small private pool and quiet and calm outside area. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar area (which served good food all through the day) was atmospheric and the rooms had everything you need.
Best regards to Rafael who made a special point of asking us about how we had found our stay.

We spent a night here driving late from Sevilla to the beaches of southern Cadiz.

Adequate rooms, safe parking, nice welcome and restaurant open at 23:00 when we checked in!

The pool was not yet open for a quick swim on 2 April. Otherwise, all perfect. Good value for money

The room was greater than the average IBIS Hotel chain room. Friendly staff. Everything very clean. The hotel meets the standards of cleaning protocols. Situaded in a industrial area. Very small pool and poll area.

I stayed at this hotel during a grand tour of Spain. The hotels in nearby Cadiz were very expensive, so this hotel, near the main motorway, seemed like a practical option.

And it was! About 20 minutes by Car to beautiful Cadiz.

However, it is also a 10 minute walk to Jerez town centre - a wonderful surprise of a city, considering I'd never heard of it before. It has a wonderful atmosphere, great shpopping, and loads of Sherry distilleries to visit.

The IBIS is situated right on the motorway beside a shopping centre and cinema. It is well signposted and car parking at the hotel is free.

The hotel is quite new, and has a lovely lounge and restaurant / bar. The rooms are expectedly clean but basic. They are quiet though, so you should have a decent night sleep.

For a 1* hotel, this is well beyond expectation, and even had a great little outdoor pool. It feels a bit motel-esque, but in the Spanish heat, the pool was much needed.

The breakfast is rubbish though - much cheaper going to the cafe in the huge supermarket nearby!

It is unlikely although there are some dog friendly hotels in Spain. We had a Westie and used to sneak him in, of course not easy with a Labrador.
