Really disappointing stay. Nice old parador style building , but some parts upgraded by dodgy builders . We were on the first floor and you could hear everything from the upstairs bathroom because they had sunk a down pipe through the wall in our room. Not great when someone decides to have a pee at 1 , 3 & 5...

Wonderful Parador in Merida. Minutes from the train station and very close to all the attractions. Clean and charming room. We had a huge room with lovely accommodations! Just wonderful. Don't miss the cute little outdoor pool and historic ruins in the grounds of the hotel. Be sure and walk around the gardens to see them. Skip the "guided tour...

Lacking a larger variety in the restaruant meny. Room not ready upon check-in, no compansation offered. Nor did they remember to give us the complimentary wine voucher as a member. Large and nicely decorated room.

An old convent converted into a Paradour with a lot of rooms and all of the facilities you would expect. Our rooms was a little on the small size but sufficed, perhaps a little less furniture would have helped, the bathroom was a reasonable size. An interesting building with gardens, underground garage and pool. The receptionist was very friendly and...

We were very happy in the Parador and loved Mérida. Everything was very good; except for one little thing which concerns the bed maling. To be confortable in bed we need to unmadke the bed as you feel trapped. This every day is an unpleasant job, which could be avoided, if using duvets

This Parador is located in the centre of the town and very close to all the sights. The room needed updating and a few general repairs, overall clean and a comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. No tea/coffee making facilities.

The booking.com write up for this hotel said that all of the rooms had air conditioning and wi-fi. In reality to save a few euros someone in management decided to turn off the a/c for the year early. It was 85F outside (77F in our room) when we were there a few days ago and there was no a/c and...

We had a nice stay in Merida with accommodation at the Parador: a lovely former convent dating from the 18th century. This put us in an ideal position to visit on foot the Roman ruins including the arch of Trajan, the old city walls, the bridge and the almost intact amphitheatre.

The idea of staying at a parador, especially this one, is for the location, architecture, feel, etc., and this is OK in this case. It seems they have a lot of traffic, that makes it difficult to attend to details like having extreme hot water in the shower for 3-4 minutes until it gets to the right temperature; if not...

Maybe we were spoiled by other Paradores but this one was disappointing. The room and bathroom were functional rather than pleasant, the pool & sunning area tiny for the number of guests, and the dinner got swamped by a tour group arriving all at once. Not bad for the price but definitely a 3rd tier Parador I would say, just...
