Our Superior room was large, beautiful and very spacious. The Parador is located in a great location in the city within walking distance to all the historic sites. The grounds are lovely, the restaurant was very good and the staff was professional. No complaints at all, we had a lovely stay and would stay again.

Very comfortable. Reasonably easy to access in this traffic controlled town. Nice large room with a small balcony and huge bed. Good restaurant and bar. The menu was excellent with some local seasonal sprecialities.

This is one of the older paradors from the 1920/30 era but has obviously received many updates. The building has great features from very high ceilings to long corridors. All worth exploring. The rooms are adequate although a little "cold" of any feeling but suitable for travelers who wish to be in the area. Breakfast was very standard and nothing...

This is a very busy Parador in a major tourist location. The staff were very professional, and when there were less people, very friendly and personally attentive. It was a great experience, with a great cuisine.

Travelling from Portugal down to Costa del Sol we stayed here for one night. The building, an ex-convent, is wonderful, the rooms were good and the staff friendly and helpful, especially in the bar. What more could you want.

Beautiful historic building in central position. Worth paying to get a superior room, they are spacious and very comfortable. My only complaint is that the pillows are very firm, synthetic material. It would be nice to see feather pillows offered . The bed it self was very comfortable.

All in all disappointing. I have been a member of Amigos for 15 years and this is not what I expect from a hotel group of this standing. Despite telling the chambermaid (in Spanish) of the faults nothing was done to correct them over the two days we were staying.

The hotel is a historic building, it used to be a convent, so it really nice to live history as you stay in the hotel. The reception people were really nice and amicable, and the check in was really quick. Also as member of their frequent guest program they gave me a voucher for a free drink at the bar....

Really disappointing stay. Nice old parador style building , but some parts upgraded by dodgy builders . We were on the first floor and you could hear everything from the upstairs bathroom because they had sunk a down pipe through the wall in our room. Not great when someone decides to have a pee at 1 , 3 & 5...

Wonderful Parador in Merida. Minutes from the train station and very close to all the attractions. Clean and charming room. We had a huge room with lovely accommodations! Just wonderful. Don't miss the cute little outdoor pool and historic ruins in the grounds of the hotel. Be sure and walk around the gardens to see them. Skip the "guided tour...
