Excellent location for Lindos village with a lovely view of the Acropolis but sadly disappointed with the accommodation. Room required major refurbishment and was not kept very clean - we had booked a balcony but got a very uninviting terrace room and were not able to change

The hotel is ideally located for Lindos village and has all you could need. The room we had was spotlessly clean and very large for the two of us with a high ceiling so it was nice and cool in the evenings/night. Some of the addional extras at the hotel are a little expensive so

We have all returned from this hotel covered in bed mite bites. Rooms need a serious update. Changed rooms as first room looked more like a bunker than a hotel room. Hotel bar staff are unfriendly, felt like we are bothering them if honest. Stayed here many times times before,

Well the name certainly does it justice the Lindos view does give a beautiful view....ours was of trees and a fence from our ground floor room but once you walked around to the pool or the bar it was a beautiful view. Our room was different to anything we’ve stayed at before,

Is this hotel good for solo travellers??
Hi. I don't see why not. It's a lovely hotel (actually more of an apartment complex than a hotel as there's no room service etc.) and the staff are all really friendly, and the site is about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Lindos.

Air conditioning is purchased at reception. It's about 150 Euro for two weeks. If you look on the Lindos View website (can't post links on here, but if you type the letter W three times into you browser, then lindosview and then a dot with the letters gr after it you're there) you'll see pictures of the room interiors if you click the Accommodation links. The refurbished rooms are the ones called "the house of..." and some of them are studios, some apartments, and some duplex apartments. The non-refurbished rooms are the "classic" ones. Everyone likes different things though. Personally we like the "classic" rooms and not the refurbished rooms. Be aware that the refurbished rooms don't have a bathroom as such - they have a shower cubicle in the bedroom area, or a curtained-off shower area, but not a separate bathroom - and the wardrobe is just a rail rather than a "normal" wardrobe. Whatever room you get though will be spotlessly clean as the maid visits every day apart from Sunday. If you have specific requirements for a room your best bet is to contact the hotel directly. Understand that requests can't be guaranteed though. Lots of people will ask for refurbished rooms, or a room with a view of the sea, or a room close to the pool etc. so it's all down to luck really. Hope this helps.
