Tired accommodation in need of major refurb all around. The lack of care filters through to the indifferent staff and absence of attention to detail. Coffee is UHT milk from a machine etc. The check in experience is woeful. Here we have a hotel that remains in business simply due to its location with wonderful lake views, as every hotel has on the lake. Very over-priced. Guests come here because they want to stay on Lake Garda, not because they want to stay at Hotel San Pietro. The pictures circulating are rather deceptive. The park with poplars commonly shown between the hotel and the lake is actually a long way down! The private beach is shared with another hotel and ten minutes bus ride away, which you have to pay cash for. Also be aware of the very steep climb up to the hotel from the lake. Disappointing in most respects. Needs new management, staff training and reinvestment.

Ok hotel nothing special staff friendly especially in the lunch area. Dinner a rip of at €19 per person poor food definitely not worth it. If you have late departure don’t expect hotel to be bothered made us change & shower in the indoor pool area and came out sweatier than when we went in. Would of been nice if they let us use a room for an hour. This has left us with a poor view of the hotel. First & last impressions should always be the lasting impression. On a positive note the hotel was clean rooms could do with updating but was comfortable. Amazing views. 25 minute walk to Limone however you can get the shuttle bus leaving every hour €1 each way.

We took the children for 5 nights in June/July 2024. The Hotel is next door to sister hotel, Hotel Christina. The good points: Limone must be the most beautiful town in Lake Garda, so pretty and clean. Amazing views from hotel and balcony, hotel clean and tidy and breakfast was not bad, dinner, not great. 2 smallish outdoor pools and one indoor pool which the kids loved. You can take boat trips from Limone to Riva (top of the lake) and Malcesine (other side of the lake) for a reasonable price. Negative: Rooms are a bit outdated but lots of hot water. The hotel is high up on the hill and the walk back from Limone town is a bit of a killer. There is a hotel minibus service (the lady minibus driver was lovely) but the last bus down to the town is at 7pm and the last bus back is at 7.15pm. Not sure why this is as some other hotels run a late service to and from town. Taxis are not easy to come by so if you are planning on walking back in the evening, put your trainers on! One tip, take a rain coat as the weather is changeable due to its location. Watching the lightening over the lake in the evening was amazing. Limone is a very beautiful town and you won't be disappointed!

Conveniently located with a great view and 15 min walk to center of Limone. Dinner (buffet) was tasty with good value for the money. Good breakfast menu except for the coffee - the worst cappuccino in all of Italy?
Lovely terrace with bar service in the evening and spectacular view.
Parking is available in the multi-level underground garage - nothing for beginners. Indoor pool not heated. Beds a bit too hard. All nice and clean. Palm trees and lemon trees all over.

We found your hotel in the internet. The pictures of your hotel as well as the fair prices convinced us to book 4 nights. As we discovered your hotel is fascinating with a great location overlooking the Lake with plenty of opportunities to hike ride a bike jog swim and play tennis at the local club - which we all did. It was awesome. Thanks for your service.

What an awful hotel. You have to walk through an underground car park to get anywhere.
There’s no WiFi - reception told me WiFi is not guaranteed in rooms but it wouldn’t even connect in reception.
The restaurant/bar is full of people smoking, so nice to walk through.
Menu claims to cater for all tastes but despite booking 10 months ago and confirming a plant based diet, there was nothing for us to eat.
Ants in the bedroom.
One sachet of instant coffee for two people over 3 nights.
This hotel is awful, leaves you feeling angry, upset and helpless.

The view is the only positive of this hotel.
The food is poor at best as dinner is served in the sister hotel which is 3* and it's probably the worst food we have had abroad. The rooms are dated and the the gym is very disappointing...the place could do with an overhaul.
The cleaners are really happy which was a plus, alot of other staff just smoking around the facilities leaving a bad smell.
Does not meet 4* barely 3*

There’s so much that’s great about this hotel. Incredible views of Lake Garda from every room balcony. Friendly, very helpful staff. Three different pool areas, each with a different t character. Large, comfortable rooms, with a mini bar that is refilled every day (such a rarity these days). A really tasty a la carte lunch menu. For the price, it offers a lot. But no hotel is perfect and there are a few things that could take the edge off your stay, if you let it. The hotel decor is a little tired. The Wi-Fi is terrible (don’t bother trying the paid-for version). The walk down to town is fine, but back up, when you’re full of beer and pasta, is hard work (that’s the price of those stunning views, I suppose). Noisy (but effective) air con and occasionally-buzzing light fittings and rattling extractor fan in the room. But on balance, if you can ignore these little niggles, you’ll love your stay, as we did.

This hotel was excellent. quick and efficient booking in, small car park under the hotel. Food was really good quality, always a roast joint, and a range of other meats, hot veg dishes and salads- if you can't find something you like I'd be surprised. Breakfast was also really good, always fresh pineapple and melon as well as other fruits and the usual range of hot and cold options. The service was superb, very pleasant wait staff who were attentive without being fussy. The room was large with plenty of clothing storage, a shower and bath and an unbelievable view from the balcony. Stunning. Everything being done by workmen (new garden area, paving repairs) was done to the best standard. The hotel itself is kept beautifully and the gardens on each level were lovely. Reception staff were excellent, helped us with great ideas for days out etc. There aren't many british people, but my husband and I do like to feel we're abroad! The hotel is in a superb position, a short 10 min stroll down to town which is a delight and also to ferry stops for Malcesine and other stops around the lake. A very special holiday for us -also take time to go to Alto Bergamo if you can and go on the cable car to Monte Baldo, the walk along the promenade at Salo, the amazing house and gardens Il Vittoriale and Andre Heller garden. So much beauty!
