This is a very old hotel. In the big room we got, we couln't close the windows. The door of the bathroom was taped! The breakfast was very brief and the waiter was not polite and inadequate. But the diner was very good and the waitress very polite and nice. The place near the beach was great and also close...

Excellent attentive service from very friendly staff. Second visit. We had lunch selected from a very varied menu choice. Food nicely presented and very tasty. A beautiful sunny day so we sat out on the extensive terrace.

Stopped here briefly for a quick drink, nice setting but not very nice toilets. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat. Great cycle path and good for walking. The hotel itself need a lot of updating its a shame because it could be a great place.

Initially on arrival we asked if we could order lunch, told to sit down and wait because we are busy! if payment of the stay hadn't been paid, we would have left. however, food was very good, eating on the terrace. Breakfast was just ok, small selection. the whole Hotel is in need of a refurbishment - inc some new...

The location is the only reason to select this hotel. It is an older hotel that is showing its age. It is out away from everything except the coast. It is about a km from the beach and is an easy walk. The rooms badly need updating. You cannot see the beach from the hotel, just lots of dunes and...

We stayed for a weekend. The location is good, close to the sea and Wassenaar and Den Hague. The hotel was smelly, think the sewage system from the toilets are not working well. Old fashioned, the carpets on the floor are old. The room was spacious but you could hear the neighbors, light in the bathroom was not working. No...

Ok so the decor is dated but it is clean, in a great location especially if you are cycling the LF1 route as it is actually on the route and the food is good. Overall I would say it is overpriced for what you get. It could be such a beautiful place...

Oh, this is the place where we often stopped for a drink when cycling through te dunes between The Hague and Leiden/Noordwijk. Only 800 or so meters from the beach! In those days we never saw much more than the terrace and the toilets. Now, a lot of years later it still looks the same on the outside. Clearly enough,...

We stopped at the hotel’s restaurant for a quick cup of coffee and a snack on an early Sunday afternoon. It was a nice and sunny winter day so the nearby dunes and beach were well visited. Although a number of other people had dropped in for refreshments things were nothing near capacity. Service was slow enough to require a...
