Would thoroughly recommend this site. It's a mix of campers and statics. We had an air conditioned 'Azure' which was pretty new with all we needed for cooking / cleaning (Eurocamp).

On 1st arrival we were greeted with a beautiful, modern reception which is in the same building as a lovely grocery shop with bakery, fresh produce, snacks, toys, beers etc.

The pool area is also modern with a 25 m outdoor & indoor pool, inside and outside kids paddling pool as well as 4 water slides. The outdoor pool was on the cool side, which didn't bother me.

Other facilities are a snack bar, bar, gym, restaurant, playpark. We also used the bowling alley one night.

There were crew led activities on every day for kids and adults. One comment on these is that they were mainly aimed at Dutch language, albeit any staff that we spoke to could converse in English no problem.

The accommodation is all nicely spaced out and was very quiet in and around our caravan. We saw absolutely no drunkenness or loud people disturbing the peace - albeit the pool area was very busy on the warmer days .

A few criticisms... there was a real lack of sun loungers on warm days. Plenty of space to potentially add more. Could also have done with a bigger indoor or shaded TV / bar area for sporting events.

However a fantastic place to stay for our summer holidays and would have no hesitation recommending this site or visiting again.

Our second visit and it was just as good as the first time around. The site is lovely - kept clean and landscaped by a huge team of staff. This time there were lots of activities for children and families as it was school holiday period and they were varied and looked like fun.

Even with the site pretty full, it wasn't noisy and it was a pleasant place to relax. The pool area got very very busy at the weekend, but was much quieter during the week. The watersides are fairly gentle, but lots of fun regardless. The pool area is spotlessly clean inside and out.

We stayed in Eurocamp mobile homes but I would recommend that you either take your own tent/caravan or book the mobile homes and chalets directly through De Twee Bruggen as their staff are much more readily available, and knowledgable, than Eurocamp staff.

I have never experienced anything quite like Twee Bruggen. Beautifully situated and well designed for a wide variety of people/groups. As we were travelling with young children, we took advantage of the indoor pool/slide when it rained but otherwise, we were cycling around the area and exploring all the hidden gems around Winterswijk. It’s location is great for cycling around. The restaurant was excellent. We dined there twice as a big group (+20) and the service/quality was a very high standard considering our size and all the other diners. We stayed in one of the bungalows and we had everything we needed for cooking, laundry, entertainment etc

I have stayed at this excellent site perhaps ten times in recent years either with family or with friends on cycling trips. My family's favourite site in NL. It tends to be either the first site we visit or the last one as we travel via Rotterdam.

Firstly, the site is located in Gelderland, a tranquil agricultural area in the east, bordering with Germany. What it doesn't offer in breathtaking mountain scenery, it makes up for with the plethora of walking and cycling routes, from which you can discover quaint villages, farms selling local produce and gain easy access to north west Germany if you fancy a slight change. This is the area if you want to get away from it all and just ride your bike / walk, then sit and have a coffee whilst watching the World go by. It takes just under 2 hours from Rotterdam.

The site is a fairly large camping site but also offers a combination of accommodation, chalets, mobiles, safari style tents etc.
Pitches are neatly formed into named sections and you are never far from a toilet or washing up block. The premium pitches have their own wc.
There is a well stocked shop and the reception provides a lot of information on the local area.

Having toured Europe elsewhere during the last two years, on returning this time we discovered a number of updates. A lot of thought has clearly gone into these updates providing an even better holiday than before.

The pool complex which was good anyway, has been totally overhauled, with contemporary grey stone flooring on the inside pool, new changing rooms, updated shower and larger snack bar area. Additionally for the kids (& adults) a tower has been built to give access to a water slide (pipe). In the building a small gym is now offered where the original changing rooms once stood. The outside area has also been given a makeover with a new, pretty large outdoor pool, good sized sun lounger area and further water slides including the original which has been relocated. The are several baby pools provided.
Washing machines are present near the shop and they too are new and programmable in English! All staff like nearly every Dutch person speak really good English.

The terrace at De Shcoppe restaurant remains unchanged and is a nice place to sit on an evening whilst watching live music which is provided a couple of times a week.
If you are travelling into Germany or returning to Rotterdam this site is recommended and you may, like us, like it so much it becomes a regular stop as part of the holiday. Recommended.

Great holiday, Eurocamp caravan clean good location double bedroom cramped lacked storage space compared to usual mobile homes we've stayed in. Site great for cycling , gym was fine, good slides, outside pool was little fresh for me.

The restaurant was OK but service was little bit sluggish, pizzas were nice , salad bar available staff often didn't advise you regards this. The cheese cake lemoncilka was dry and tasteless, the other food we had was fine, just need to improve on service. Euurocamp reps non existstant , don't actually know what they do?

Shop quite well stocked , staff nice, a larger Spar store short ride away in nearby Bredevort quirky quaint village.

The site entertainment staff seemed to be capable and engaging with kids with activities etc jigsaw speed competition, soap making etc.

Good site, clean, bike hire better value for week , reception staff nice , laundry can be done at excellent communal areas using contact less payment.

The site is stunning. Great facilities and lots going on for all ages. It is a very large site. On site shop is good value and staff friendly.
Our only disappointment was the main restaurant on site.
Pizzas can only be ordered at the bakery but you can't order fries with it . We questioned this and so went to order in main restaurant , ( both in same outside area), but staff refused to serve us . Advised to order in snack bar with lengthy wait . Meaning pizzas were cold ! Shambolic arrangement.
No reflection on site but Eurocamp Reps were unhelpful, plain ignorant infact and did not engage with us. Not worth employing them!

Fantastic park. Friendly staff who all surreal excellent English. Well stocked shop with great prices. Excellent water park with three outdoor slides and one indoor slide. Plus jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pool, both open until late. Very well priced bike here too. Great location. What more can I say.
We stayed in a Eurocamp cabin. Again, this was excellent. Everything you could need, even a bbq. Highly recommended.

we stayed in a chalet. It was clean, very small but practical. nice terrasse. the swimming pool inside is quite nice and the tobbogan is great. Water outside is cold. nice playing grounds for kids.
problem is that at night there was music from the neighbouring chalets, and despite my call to the reception, there was no reaction. Also, they rent out tandem bikes, but they did not have the keys at the reception

Mega campsite.....
The pitches are huge, the ground is grass with sand. Each zone has a separate washroom. And this one is just great, the showers, the toilets and above all free dishwashers....
As we were only there for 2 nights (Obelink sends its regards......) we didn't use the rest of the site. Just this much: there is an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym, a petting zoo, various children's playgrounds, a supermarket and of course a restaurant.

A super beautiful park, many facilities and very friendly staff.

We were here with our family and we had a great time, the kids could play at all the play areas in the park and the pump track in particular was a much-visited part. A lovely visit to Winterswijk (located 5 km from the Twee Bruggen) completed the weekend for us. A cozy and beautiful center with many nice shops and restaurants.

But you can also eat well in the park and relax together.

In short, a relaxing weekend for all of us.
