Last August we stayed in LidaMary. Was one of the best holiday periods. The location is incredible, it’s like you live in another century. The rooms are very cozy and atmospheric the same time.Tasos who is the manager of this hotel complex is more than professional and will help you with any question, he will recommend you the best places to explore, the best places for food/drinks and swimming. Following the plan he structured for us we got the most completed taste not only of Mesta village and the areas around but also of the whole island. We really hope to come back soon! Chios is a wonderful island!

Mesta is a remarkable place - its like stepping back in time, and it feels very secret and special. Tasos, the host, is a remarkable young man. His English is excellent, which is a great bonus, he goes out of his way to be helpful and he can give great insight into the area. His taste is impeccable and he has renovated the rooms at Lida Mary perfectly - they are not large or flashy but every little detail is perfect from the generous shower to the soft linen sheets and the shocking-pink bed-cover. It is a great blessing for Mesta that there are people like him who are prepared to put the time and money and energy into preserving the wonderful buildings for posterity in such an authentic yet fit-for-21st century way. While you are there, do not hesitate to eat at Mesaionas just outside the village walls.…

Lida Mary is an excellent hotel in Mesta (a picturesque medieval village) in the beatiful island of Chios. We stayed in two different rooms both nice. clean and comfortable but the best feature of the hotel is the young owner Tasos who is extremely helpful and wiling keen to share his knowledge of the island to help you make the best of your holiday. Additionally the island itself is well worth a visit. I have been to approx 25 Greek islands and this, which I did not know until now, has become one of my favourites

Tasos, the host, is very professional, polite and helpful and provides you with all the information you may need! The traditional Kismet room exceeded our expectations! It is a very clean and uniquely decorated residence in a lovely location Totally recommend it for your stay while you are in the beautiful Chios island!

My 3-night stay at Lida Mary was amazing! My room was very comfortable, with lovely toiletries, excellent air conditioning, and plenty of fluffy pillows. Tasos was an outstanding host, extremely kind and always willing to lend a hand if I needed tips or advice on things to do or places to eat. And Mesta is an incredibly quaint and charming town, with some cute little shops and the best souvlaki I've ever had. I hope to return soon! Tip: You'll definitely want to rent a car to explore the island, as I made good use of mine.

We stayed at Lida Mary for 3 nights. Tasos was a very knowledgeable guy and showed us on a map the places of interest and gave us good tips too. The hotel room was very clean and a maid came in daily.
